Abstract
La presente invención aborda el problema de proporcionar un método para obtener y producir células progenitoras renales que tengan un alto grado de pureza, a partir de una población de células obtenida al inducir la diferenciación de células madre pluripotenciales en células progenitoras renales, mediante la identificación de un antígeno marcador de superficie celular específico de células progenitoras renales. La presente invención también se refiere a un método para producir células progenitoras renales obtenidas al inducir la diferenciación de células madre pluripotenciales, en donde el método incluye: (i) un paso de cultivar células madre pluripotenciales bajo condiciones que induzcan su diferenciación en células progenitoras renales; y (ii) un paso de seleccionar una población de células a partir de las células obtenidas en el paso del inciso (i) mediante el uso de por lo menos un marcador de superficie celular que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de CD9(-), CD55(-), CD106(+), CD140a(+), CD140b(+), CD165(+), CD271(+) y CD326(-).
