Abstract
Un dispositivo de control de arranque de acuerdo con la presente invención detecta un vehículo anterior que se detiene enfrente de un vehículo anfitrión, adquiere la velocidad relativa y la distancia inter-vehicular entre el vehículo anterior y el vehículo anfitrión, detecta una solicitud de arranque introducida por el conductor del vehículo anfitrión, y percibe el número de veces en que se ha detectado la solicitud de arranque después de que se ha detenido el vehículo anfitrión. Después, el dispositivo de control de arranque establece un período de aprobación de arranque dependiendo del número de solicitudes de arranque, y aprueba que el vehículo anfitrión arranque y siga el vehículo anterior cuando un período de espera, el cual es un período en el que se ha detectado la solicitud de arranque cuando la velocidad relativa y/o la distancia inter-vehicular satisface una condición de arranque preestablecida, es menor que el período de aprobación de arranque, o restringe un arranque cuando el período de espera es igual a o mayor que el período de aprobación de arranque.
