Abstract

Se proporciona un haz de fibras de carbono revestido con agente de encolado que tiene excelentes características mecánicas cuando se usa como un material compuesto reforzado con fibra de carbono, así como una facilidad de manejo excelente; un método para fabricar el mismo; y un material compuesto reforzado con preimpregnado y fibra de carbono de excelentes características mecánicas, que emplea el haz de fibras. El haz de fibras de carbono se reviste con un agente de encolado que incluye un compuesto epoxi alifático de poliéter que tiene dos o más grupos epoxi por molécula y/o un compuesto epoxi alifático de poliol o un compuesto no soluble en agua que tiene una temperatura de transición vítrea de -100-50°C, en donde el haz de fibras de carbono revestido con agente de encolado se caracteriza porque la relación de planicidad (ancho/espesor) de la sección transversal del haz de fibras de carbono es de 10-150, y una relación de deposición del agente de encolado de dos partes de borde/parte central, obtenido dividiendo el haz de fibras de carbono en la dirección de ancho a lo largo de la dirección de fibra en tres partes iguales en masa, y calculando la relación a partir la relación de la masa del agente de encolado a la masa del haz de fibras de carbono en la parte central y en ambas partes extremas, es de 1.05-1.5.
