Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método e instalación para fabricar una cinta de filamentos de refuerzo impregnados por una matriz polimérica, dicha cinta tiene un ancho constante a través de toda su longitud, en donde los filamentos se extienden en una dirección paralela a la longitud de la cinta, desde una hebra de filamentos procedentes de un bobina de alimentación, el método incluye las etapas y unidades que hacen posible manejar la tirantez de desenrollado de la hebra, guiar la hebra sobre el eje de máquina, manejar el ancho de la hebra, depositar el polímero sobre la hebra mediante pulverización electrostática, con una relación en peso de polímero de aproximadamente 20% a aproximadamente 75% para fundir el polímero, calibrar el ancho y espesor de la cinta y recolectar la cinta en la bobina de almacenamiento.
