Abstract

Procedimientos con bajo contenido de HF o libres de HF para mejorar la estabilidad de color de un fósforo dopado con Mn+4 de la fórmula I, que incluyen poner en contacto el fósforo de la fórmula I con una solución que contiene ácido hexafluorosilícico, y aislar un fósforo tratado de la fórmula I que tiene estabilidad de color mejorada con relación a un fósforo no tratado de la fórmula I: Ax [MFy]:Mn+4 (I), en donde A es Li, Na, K, Rb, Cs, R4 o una combinación de los mismos; M es Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Y, La, Nb, Ta, Bi, Gd, o una combinación de los mismos; R es H, alquilo inferior, o una combinación de los mismos; x es el valor absoluto de la carga del ion [MFy]; e y es5,6 ó7.
