Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a composiciones y métodos útiles para la producción de proteínas heterólogas con O-manosilación reducida en células de hongos filamentosos, como células Trichoderma; más específicamente, la invención proporciona una célula de hongos filamentosos deficiente de PMT que comprende a) al menos una primera mutación que reduce una actividad de proteasa endógena en comparación con una célula de hongos filamentosos parentales que no tienen dicha primera mutación y, b) al menos una segunda mutación en un gen PMT que reduce la actividad endógena de 0-manosiltransferasa comparada con una célula de hongos filamentosos parentales que no tienen dicha segunda mutación, en donde dicha célula de hongos filamentosos es seleccionada del grupo consistente en células Trichoderma, Neurospora, Myceliophthora o Chrysosporium.
