células hospedeiras fúngicas filamentosas modificadas. a presente invenção refere-se à célula hospedeira fúngica filamentosa mutada que produz um polipeptídeo secretado de interesse, em que uma esteroide desidrogenase putativa nativa é modificada, truncada, parcial ou completamente inativada, está presente em um nível reduzido ou é eliminada em comparação a uma célula progenitora não mutada, e em que a dita esteroide desidrogenase putativa nativa compreende pelo menos um motivo de aminoácidos conservado selecionado dentre: ygar e/ou vphs[w/y]f e/ou qc[a/v/s]rrl e/ou lkkytlp e/ou cphyt, e a métodos para produzir um polipeptídeo secretado de interesse nas ditas células, assim como métodos para produzir as ditas células.
