Abstract
La invención se refiere a un otoscopio (10) que comprende una porción de mango (12) que permite a un usuario manipular el otoscopio (10) durante su aplicación; y una porción de cabeza (14) que muestra una forma sustancialmente ahusada que se extiende a lo largo de un eje longitudinal (A) de la porción de cabeza (14), en donde la porción de cabeza (14) tiene un extremo próximo (16) adyacente a la porción de mango (12) y un extremo distante más pequeño (18) adaptado para introducirse en un canal auditivo de un oído externo del paciente. El otoscopio (10) además comprende una unidad electrónica de captura de imágenes colocada en el extremo distante (18) de la porción de cabeza (14) especialmente en una punta distante (35) de la porción de cabeza (14), el otoscopio (10) además comprende un mecanismo de movimiento de cubierta de sonda (65) configurado para mover al menos una porción de una cubierta de sonda al menos parcialmente transparente (60) adaptada para ponerse sobre la porción de cabeza (14), especialmente configurada para mover la cubierta de sonda (60) con respecto al menos a un eje óptico (X; X1, X2) de la unidad electrónica de captura de imágenes (40). La presente invención además se refiere a una cubierta de sonda (60) para tal otoscopio (10) y a un método para identificar objetos en el oído del sujeto.
