Abstract

Materiales y métodos para la formación de microcápsulas que incluyen una alta concentración de ingredientes agrícolamente activos (lA) y un polímero lipófilo encapsulado dentro de una cubierta polimérica formada a través de una reacción de policondensación interfacial. Bajo ciertas condiciones, estas microcápsulas se pueden formar usando menos disolvente lipófilo que el requerido mediante el uso de técnicas de microencapsulación convencionales. Estos métodos de la invención incluyen la formación de una emulsión de aceite-en-agua, en algunos casos usando un primer polímero como un disolvente lipófilo para la Al y la formación de una microcápsula que incluye la Al y el polímero. Otros métodos incluyen la formación de una microcápsula que incluye un monómero lipófilo, el ingrediente agrícolamente activo y el iniciador que tiene una cubierta polimérica, y a continuación elevar la temperatura para iniciar la polimerización del monómero con la microcápsula.
