Abstract
Al monitorear las perturbaciones transitorias de presión en un líquido dentro de un sistema de distribución de líquido utilizando solamente un solo sensor, fácilmente son detectados eventos tales como la abertura y cierre de válvulas en accesorios específicos; el sensor, el cual fácilmente se puede acoplar a un grifo de manguera, transmite una señal de salida a un dispositivo de computación; cada evento de este tipo puede ser identificado por el dispositivo con base en la comparación de características de la forma de onda de perturbaciones transitorias de presión con características previamente observadas par eventos en el sistema; estas características, las cuales pueden incluir la diversa presión, derivativo, y Cepstrum real de la forma de onda de perturbaciones transitorias de presión, se pueden utilizar para seleccionar un accesorio específico donde ha ocurrido un evento de abertura o cierre de válvula; el flujo a cada accesorio y fugas en el sistema también se pueden determinar a partir de la señal perturbaciones transitorias de presión; un segundo sensor colocado en un punto dispar del primer sensor proporciona información de evento adicional.
