Abstract

Proporcionar un método de grabación de un disco óptico multicapas que tiene tres o más capas de grabación, para llevar a cabo la grabación mientras asegura suficientes áreas de prueba sin reducir las áreas de datos del usuario, y mientras que controla apropiadamente el poder del rayo láser irradiado hacia cada una de las capas. El método usa un disco óptico que tiene al menos una primera capa de grabación y una segunda capa de grabación localizadas en el lado más cercano a la superficie incidente de luz que la primera capa de grabación, y que respectivamente, tiene una primer área configurada por una pluralidad de segmentos en la primera capa de grabación, y una segunda área configurada por una pluralidad de segmentos en la segunda capa de grabación. Además, el método está configurado de forma tal que se define de antemano una distancia radial L predeterminada correspondiente a una precisión relativa de posiciones radiales entre la pluralidad de capas y el diámetro de punto óptico, y que cuando un segmento arbitrario en la segunda área de pruebas es grabado a prueba, un segmento en la primer área de pruebas, la distancia radial de la que del área de pruebas grabada en la segunda área de pruebas está dentro del rango de la distancia radial L predeterminada, se configura como un segmento en el que la grabación de prueba no es llevada a cabo. Por lo tanto, aun en el caso en el que las posiciones radicales de las áreas de prueba de la pluralidad de capas están sustancialmente superpuestas una con otra, es posible desempeñar de manera precisa el aprendizaje del poder óptico. Por esta razón, es posible usar y arreglar las áreas de prueba de la pluralidad de capas sin desperdiciar. Además, el aprendizaje del poder de grabación puede llevarse a cabo sin recibir la influencia del estado grabado de las otras capas, por lo que la certeza del aprendizaje del poder de grabación puede ser mejorada. Por lo tanto, es posible mejorar la calidad de grabación y la confiabilidad de los datos grabados.
