Abstract

Se describe una composición fotocrómica curable que hace posible la formación de un cuerpo fotocrómico curable que muestra buenas características fotocrómicas por un tiempo prolongado, mientras que tiene excelente resistencia mecánica. Mediante el uso de la composición fotocrómica curable, puede ser producido un cuerpo curable fotocrómico a bajo costo. Se describe específicamente una composición fotocrómica curable que contiene 0.001-10 partes en masa de [E] un compuesto fotocrómico por 100 partes en masa de los monómeros polimerizables compuestos de [A] no menor de 0.1 parte en masa, pero no menos de 5 partes en masa de un monómero radicalmente polimerizable, que tiene un grupo epóxico específico, [B) no menos de 1.0 partes en masa pero no más de 15 partes en masa de un monómero radicalmente polimerizable, polifuncional, específico, [C] no menos de 1.0 partes en masa pero no más de 30 partes en masa de un monómero de di(met)acrilato específico, y [D] más de 50.0 partes en masa pero no menos de 97.9 partes en masa del (met)acrilato y/o tio(met)acrilato diferente de los compuestos [A] - [C].
