Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a copolímeros de bloque conjugado de dieno-monovinilareno, que contienen una pluralidad de bloques mezclados de conjugado de dieno-monovinilareno, en donde cada bloque mezclado contiene unidades de dieno conjugado y unidades de monovinilareno en una relación en peso de aproximadamente 0.05 hasta aproximadamente 0.33. También se describe una composición que contiene (a) desde aproximadamente 50 partes en peso, hasta aproximadamente 95 partes en peso del copolímero de bloque conjugado de dieno-monovinilareno y (b) desde aproximadamente 5 partes por peso hasta aproximadamente 50 partes por peso de poliestireno; en donde el copolímero de bloque conjugado de dieno-monovinilareno y el poliestireno son en total 100 partes por peso. Se describe además, un método para envolver por encogimiento un objeto o un grupo de objetos envolviendo el objeto o grupo de objetos con una película que contiene la composición, para proporcionar un objeto envuelto o grupo de objetos, y calentar el objeto envuelto o grupo de objetos a una temperatura y por una duración suficiente para encoger la película en al menos, una primera dirección, para proporcionar un objeto o grupos de objetos envueltos por encogimiento.
