Abstract

Se proporciona un dispositivo y método para proporcionar capacidades de pruebas biológicas portátil libre de contaminación biológica de un medio ambiente al exterior del dispositivo. El dispositivo incluye un alojamiento portátil. El dispositivo incluye además un volumen rodeado por el alojamiento y sellado contra el paso de materiales biológicos entre el volumen y el medio ambiente al exterior del dispositivo. El dispositivo incluye además un medio de cultivo dentro del volumen. El dispositivo incluye además uno o más orificios configurados para proveer acceso a volumen mientras que se evita contaminación biológica del volumen. El dispositivo incluye además una válvula en comunicación fluida con el volumen y el medio ambiente. La válvula tiene un estado abierto en el cual la válvula permite que el gas fluya desde dentro del volumen al medio ambiente al exterior del dispositivo y un estado cerrado en el cual la válvula impide que el gas fluya entre el volumen y el medio ambiente. La válvula cambia del estado cerrado al estado abierto en respuesta a una presión dentro del volumen más grande que la presión del medio ambiente al exterior del dispositivo.
