Abstract

Un proceso y sistema para la fabricacion de tiras de metal de 0.14-20 mm de espesor y laminas de metal de 10-100 mm de espesor a partir de losas (1) de un espesor entre 30 y 300 mm mediante moldeo continuo de tipo arco. La losa (1) luego del moldeo se alimenta sin solucion de continuidad directamente para el paso (11) de laminado despues de calentarse en un horno (12) de induccion sin ningun producto intermedio. El producto plano enrollado se extrae como una lamina (20) luego del enfriamiento controlado, por medio de un dispositivo (14) de corte y extraccion o enrollado en un carrete para formar un rollo (15) de una tira continua que se puede separar por el dispositivo (14') de corte corriente abajo de un sistema de enfriamiento (13). Los dispositivos (13') de enfriamiento de superficie pueden ser provistos entre las estaciones de laminado. La velocidad de alimentacion desde el moldeo continuo hasta el fin del laminado va aumentando paso a paso en relacion a las reducciones de espesor y la calidad del producto final, con la regulacion en cascada para la direccion corriente abajo.
