Abstract

Se describen composiciones para la reduccion de emisiones de NOx generadas durante el proceso de degradacion catalitica, preferiblemente, un proceso de degradacion catalitica de fluidos. Las composiciones comprenden (i) un oxido de metales acidos que contienen sustancialmente nada de zeolita; (ii) un metal alcalino, metal alcalino terreo, y mezclas de los mismos, (iii) un componente de almacenamiento de oxigeno, (iv) paladio y (v) un componente de metales nobles, preferiblemente platino, rodio, o iridio, y mezclas de los mismos. Preferiblemente, las composiciones se usan como particulas de aditivos separadas que circulan junto con el inventario del catalizador de DCF circulante. El contenido reducido de NOx en un gas de purga efluente de un regenerador de DCF de combustion total o completa se logran mientras se promueve simultaneamente la combustion de CO.
