Abstract

Se describen composiciones para la reduccion de emisiones de Nox generadas durante el proceso de craqueo catalítico, preferentemente un proceso de craqueo catalítico fluido. Las composiciones comprenden i) oxido de metal ácido sustancialmente sin contenido de zeolita; ii) un metal alcalino, un metal alcalinotérreo y mezclas de los mismos, iii) un componente de almacenamiento de oxígeno; iv) paladio y v) un componente de metal noble, preferentemente platino, rodio o iridio y mezclas de los mismos. De preferencia, las composiciones se utilizan en forma de partículas de aditivos separados que circulan junto con el catalizador existente de FCC: se obtiene un contenido reducido de Nox en un gas de escape efluente de un regenerador de FCC de combustion total o completa, promoviendo al mismo tiempo la combustion de CO.
