Abstract

본 발명은 엔진의 후처리 장치를 개시한다. 상기 엔진의 후처리 장치는 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 배기관(2)을 통해 외부로 배출되는 배기가스에 요소 수용액을 분사시키는 요소 수용액 분사부(3)와, 상기 요소 수용액 분사부(3)로부터 분사되는 요소 수용액과 혼합되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)을 무해한 물(H2O)과 질소(N2)로 전환시키는 질소산화물 처리부(4)와, 상기 질소산화물 처리부(4)로부터 배출되는 배기가스 중의 탄화수소(HC)와 일산화탄소(CO)를 저감시키는 OC(Oxidation Catalyst)(5)를 포함하는 엔진의 후처리 장치에 있어서, 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스 중의 질소산화물(NOx)의 농도 수준에 따라, 상기 엔진(1)의 연소실로부터 외부로 배출되는 배기가스를 제1 처리경로(15)와 제2 처리경로(16)로 일정 비율로 배분하여 공급하는 배출가스 제어유닛(20)을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명은 유해한 질소산화물(NOx)을 무해한 물(H2O)과 질소(N2)로 전환시키는 SCR의 효율성과 내구성을 확보할 수 있게 한다.
