Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para la preparación de un catalizador de níquel y/o cobalto, que contiene halógeno, fomentado con rutenio, que contiene de 4 a 40 por ciento por peso, basado en el peso total del catalizador, de cuando menos un metal elegido de níquel y cobalto; de 0.1 a 5 por ciento por peso, basado en el peso total del catalizador, de rutenio; y un soporte de óxido de metal poroso comprendido de cuando menos 50 por ciento por peso de alúmina activa, y/o sílice, procedimiento en el que el soporte es impregnado en una ó más etapas con un compuesto de níquel y/o un compuesto de cobalto y un compuesto de rutenio, y los compuestos de níquel y/o cobalto y el compuesto de rutenio son reducidos a metales de níquel y/o cobalto y rutenio finamente divididos, caracterizado en que se introduce un haluro en el catalizador mediante la adición de un compuesto en cualquier forma aparte de aquella del compuesto de haluro de rutenio en cualquier etapa del procedimiento.
