Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento mejorado para hilar rápidamente hebras plexifilamentarias de película-fibrilla de polímero sintético formador de fibra, en donde el polímero se mezcla de hilatura que contiene de 5 a 30 por ciento de polímero hilándose rápidamente después de la mezcla a una presión que es mayor que la presión autógena del fluido de hilatura en una región de una temperatura a una presión sustancialmente inferiores, el procedimiento está caracterizado porque comprende, en combinación el co-solvente que es un halogenocarburo de 1, 2 ó 3 átomos de carbono y por lo enos un átomo de hidrógeno que tiene un punto de ebullición en el rango de 0 grados -50 grados C que comprende de 10 a 50 por ciento en peso del fluido de hilatura a una temperatura en el rango de 130 a 240 grados C, y a una presión en el rango de 35 a 350 Kg/cm2 absolutos (500 a 5,000 libras/pulgadas absolutas).
