Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, namely to a process for producing vegetative planting material of Lavandula angustifolia Mill.The process, according to the invention, comprises selection of gerontic vegetative shoots during the vegetative dormancy by cutting them at 2…3 cm from the soil, separation and formation on the apical part thereof of segments of a length of 16…20 cm with 5…7 ramifications having at least 3…4 autumn increment buds on each ramification, planting of formed shoots in greenhouses with chernozem, containing at least 3.0% of humus, fertilized with N45 P45 K45, covered with a nutrient layer of 4…5 cm, consisting of soil, sand and peat in a ratio of 3:1:1, respectively, on which is applied a layer of 3…4 cm of coarse sand and covered with a black plastic film. Planting of formed shoots is carried out to a depth of 10…12 cm and a nutrition area of 10x10 cm, afterwards is carried out watering at a frequency to ensure that the soil and sand are constantly moistened, 3-x nitrogenous fertilization at intervals of 20…30 days, starting from the leafing stage, at the first watering fertilization with N15, at the next two waterings fertilization with N30, removal of inflorescences before flowering during the vegetation period and digging up of seedlings from greenhouses in the 2nd half of October.
