Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to a process for obtaining plant material of mint (Mentha piperita L.) from degenerate plantation.The process, according to the invention, includes the selection of developed mint rhizomes, separation of their apical part of a length of 5…10 cm, growing from rhizomes of seedlings in the greenhouse, separation of the apical segments of seedlings with the first pair of leaves, rooting thereof in the light in vats with water at a temperature of 18…24°C, transplantation of rooted segments with rootlets of 10…15 mm in nutrient substrate, containing peat, black earth and sand in the ratio of 1:1:1 and growing thereof to the formation of 4…6 pairs of leaves.
