Винахід описує спосіб розмноження енергетичної культури міскантуса гігантського (). Спосіб включає відокремлення частини рослини і поміщення її в живильний розчин до отримання укорінених живців з початковою кореневою системою, придатною для висадки живця у ґрунт. Як частину рослини використовують частину стебла в області 1-го або 2-го міжвузля рахуючи знизу, причому відокремлення частини стебла проводять лише у рослини 3-го та наступних років вегетації по досягненню нею фази виходу у трубку за наявності 7-9 міжвузль.
