The invention relates to the food industry, in particular to a process for producing sweetened dried stone fruits.The process, according to the invention, includes the preliminary preparation of fruits, removal of inedible parts, filling of fruits with a solution with the temperature of 25…85°C containing, in mass. %: sugar 45.0…75.0, potassium sorbate 0.07…0.23, sulphurous substances recalculated for SO2 0.03…0.17, organic acid 0.1…1.0, taken in an amount necessary to reach pH 3.0…3.5, maintenance of fruits in solution up to the equilibrium of dry soluble substances content in fruits and solution, separation of fruits and their drying at the temperature of 45…65°C up to the humidity of 14…32%.
