Abstract
본 발명은 공급 전압원에 접속되는 입력단자(K1,K2)와, 입력단자와 연결되고 고압방전 램프에 교류램프 전류를 공급하는 수단을 구비하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 회로장치는 램프전류의 각 반주기의 소정부분에 전류펄스를 발생하는 수단(Ⅲ)을 또한 구비하고, 상기 전류펄스는 램프회로와 동일극성을 갖고 램프 전류의 반주기들의 소정부분의 후반부분에서 램프전류에 중첩된다. 결과로서, 작동중 방전 아아크의 깜박임은 실질적으로 억제된다.

Claims (11)
- 고류램프전류가 고압방전 램프에 공급되는 고압 방전램프 작동방법에 있어서, 전류펄스가 램프전류의 반주기들의 소정부분에 발생되고, 상기 전류 펄스는 램프회로와 동일 극성을 가지며 그것이 발생된 반주기의 후반부분에서 램프 전류에 중첩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프 작동방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전류펄스는 램프전류의 각 반주기에 발생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프 작동방법.
- 공급 전압원에 접속되는 입력단자 (K1,K2)와, 상기 입력단자에 연결되고 고압방전 램프에 교류 램프 전류를 공급하는 수단을 구비하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치에 있어서, 램프전류의 반주기의 소정부분에 전류펄스를 발생하는 수단(Ⅲ)을 또한 구비하고, 상기 전류 펄스는 램프 회로와 동일 극성을 갖고 그것이 발생된 반주기의 후반 부분에서 램프전류에 중첩되는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 수단(Ⅲ)은 램프전류의 각 반주기에서 전류펄스를 발생시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 제3항 또는 제4항에 있어서, 교류램프 전류를 고압방전 램프에 공급하는 상기 수단은 상기입력단자에 연결되고 공급 전압원에 의해 공급된 공급전압으로 부터 DC공급전류를 발생하는 수단(Ⅰ)과, 공급전류를 교류램프 전류로 변환하는 변환기 (Ⅲ)를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 제5항에 있어서, DC공급전류를 발생하는 상기수단(Ⅰ)은 램프작동중 고주파로 작동되는 스위칭 소자를 구비한 DC-DC 변환기를 구비하고, 전류펄스를 발생하는 상기 수단은 이 스위칭 소자의 듀티 사이클을 조정하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 제5항 또는 제6항에 있어서, DC 공급전류를 발생하는 상기 수단은 램프 작동중 고주파로 작동되는 수위칭 소자를 구비한 DC-DC 변환기를 구비하고, 전류펄스를 발생하는 상기 수단은 이 스위칭소자의 스위칭 주파수를 조정하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 전술한 항중 하나 이상의 항에 있어서, 램프전류의 주파수는 50Hz - 500Hz 범위에서 선택되고, 전류펄스의 평균진폭과 램프전류의 평균진폭간의 비가 0.6 과 2 사이이며 전류펄스의 지속시간과 램프전류의 반주기간의 비가 0.05 와 0.15 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 전술한 항중 하나 이상의 항에 있어서, 전류펄스에 의해 고압방전 램프에 공급된 에너지량은 하나의 반주기동안 램프전류에 의해 고압 방전 램프에 공급된 에너지량의 5%와 15% 사이인 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 전술한 항중 하나 이상의 항에 있어서, 회로장치는 고압방전 램프에 의해 소비된 소망 전력량에 대한 기준인 신호를 발생하는 수단을 구비한 전력제어 루프를 구비하고 상기 전류펄스 발생수단은 상기 신호를 조정하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
- 제5항, 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 상기 변환기는 전브리지회로를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 고압방전 램프를 작동시키기 위한 회로장치.
