Abstract
와이어 및 케이블 피복재, 풍화스트립, 섬유 등으로 유용한 경화성, 실란-그라프트된 실질적으로 선형의 에틸렌 중합체가 개시되어 있다. 이들 실란-그라프트된 중합체는 충전되거나 충전되지 않을 수 있고 많은 시판 피복재에 비해 급속히 경화될 수 있다.

Claims (15)
- 실란과 그라프트되기 전에 (i) 용융 유동 비, I10/I2≥5.63; (ii) 하기 식에 의해 정의되는 분자량 분포, Mw/Mn:Mw/Mn≤(I10/I2)-4.63(iii) 0.850 내지 0.91 g/㎤의 밀도; 및 (iv) 거의 동일한 I2및 Mw/Mn을 갖는 선형 올레핀 중합체의 초기 표면 용융 파단에서의 임계 전단비 보다 50% 이상 더 큰 초기 표면 용융 파단에서의 임계 전단비를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 실란-가교제와 그라프트된 실질적으로 선형의 경화성 에틸렌 중합체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 실란 가교제가 에틸렌형 불포화 하이드로카빌기와 가수분해성 기를 포함하는 불포화된 실란인 그라프트된 중합체.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 실란 가교제가 에틸렌 중합체 100부당 0.5 내지 5부의 양으로 존재하는 그라프트된 중합체.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 에틸렌 중합체가 에틸렌과 탄소 원자수 3 내지 20의 적어도 하나의 α-올레핀의 공중합체인 그라프트된 중합체.
- 제1항 내지 제4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 적어도 부분 경화후의 그라프트된 공중합체.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 충전제와 결합된 그라프트된 중합체.
- (A) 중합체의 용융물을 제조하는 단계; (B) 주위 온도에서 상기 (A)의 용융물에 약0.5 내지 약 5phr의 실란 가교제를 혼합하는 단계; 및 (C) 약 50중량% 이상의 실란 가교제가 공중합체에 그라프트되도륵 상기 (B)의 용융물에 전리선을 적용하거나, 상기 (B)의 용융물에 유리 라디칼 개시제를 접촉시키는 단계를 포함하는, (i) 용융 유동 비, I10/I2≥5.63; (ii) 하기 식에 의해 정의되는 분자량 분포, Mw/Mn;Mw/Mn≤(I10/I2)-4.63(iii) 0.850 내지 0.91 g/㎤의 밀도; 및 (iv) 거의 동일한 I2및 Mw/Mn을 갖는 선형 올레핀 중합체의 초기 표면 용융 파단에서의 임계 전단비 보다 50% 이상 더 큰 초기 표면 용융 파단에서의 임계 전단비를 가짐을 특징으로 하는, 실란-가교제로 그라프트된 실질적으로 선형의 경화성 에틸렌 중합체의 제조 방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, (D) 가교 촉매 0.015 내지 0.035Phr을 (C)의 용융물에 혼합하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제8항에 있어서, (E) 케이블 위에 (D)의 용융물을 압출하는 단계; 및 임의로, (F) 케이블 위에서 압출된 용융물을 경화시키는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제7항 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 실란 가교제를 첨가하기 전에 (A)의 용융물에 중합체의 중량을 기준으로 충전제 20 내지 80중량%를 포함하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항 또는 제10항의 방법에 의해 제조된 케이블.
- 제8항에 있어서, (E) (D)의 용융물을 풍화스트립으로 성형하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
- 제l2항의 풍화스트립.
- 제8항에 있어서, (E) (D)의 용융물을 섬유로 압출하는 단계를 추가로 포함하는 방법.
