Abstract

바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄 또는 이 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄은 가소하여 수득되는 천이 알루미나를 분쇄하고, 이어서 염화수소기체를 1체적%이상, 혹은 염소기체를 1체적% 이상 및 수증기를 0.1체적%이상 함유하는 분위기 기체중에서 600∼1400℃의 온도에서 소성하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법 및 이 방법에 의해 수득된 알루미나 순도가 99.8중량%이상, 나트륨 함유량이 40ppm이하, 철 함유량이 20ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.

Claims (11)

  1. 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄 또는 이 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄을 가소하여 수득되는 천이 알루미나를 분쇄하고, 이어서 염화 수소 기체를 1체적% 이상, 혹은 염소 기체를 1체적% 이상 및 수증기를 0.1체적% 이상 함유하는 분위기 기체중에서, 600∼1400℃의 온도에서 소성하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 소성한 후에 세정하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄 또는 이 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄을 가소하여 수득되는 천이 알루미나를 누적 입도 분포의 50% 지름이 10㎛ 이하로 분쇄하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄 또는 이 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄을 가소하여 수득되는 천이 알루미나를 누적입도 분포의 50% 지름이 5㎛ 이하로 분쇄하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 800∼1200℃의 온도에서 소성하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  6. 제2항에 있어서, 소성한 후에, 물로 세정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 α-알루미나의 제조방법.
  7. 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄 또는 이 바이어법에 의한 수산화 알루미늄을 가소하여 수득되는 천이 알루미나를 분쇄하고, 이어서 염화 수소 기체를 1체적% 이상, 혹은 염소 기체를 1체적%이상 및 수증기를 0.1체적% 이상 함유하는 분위기 기체 중에서 600∼1400℃의 온도에서 소성함으로써 수득된 알루미나 순도가 99.8중량% 이상, 나트륨 함유량이 40ppm 이하, 철 함유량이 20ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 칼슘 함유량이 40ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 칼슘 함유량이 10ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.
  10. 제7항에 있어서, 나트륨 함유량이 10ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.
  11. 제7항에 있어서, 철 함유량이 10ppm 이하인 분말상의 α-알루미나.
