Abstract

투과성 기판, 제1유전층, 기록층, 제2유전층, 반사층, 제3유전층으로 구성된 광학 정보 기록 매체에 관한 것이다. 기판은 마크엣지 기록 작동을 수행하는 광 디스크로 구성된다. 제1유전층은 기판상에 형성한 기록총은 제1유전층상에 형성되며 레이저 빔을 조사받아 결정상태와 비결정 상태 사이에서 가역 상변화하므로써 정보를 기록 및 소거한다. 기록된 정보는 기록층 상변화에 따르는 광학 특성의 변화를 검출하므로써 재생된다. 제2유전층은 기록층 상에 형성한다. 반사층은 제2유전층상에 형성되어 투과율을 가진다. 제3유전층은 반사층상에 형성하며 상기의 막두께는 결정상태에 있는 기록층의 흡수율 Ac와 비결정상태의 흡수율 Ac 사이의 관계를 Ac>Aa가 되도록 제어하게 설정된다. 유전층은 굴절률 n이 1·5보다 큰 값을 가지는 유전체 재료로 구성된다.

  1. 마크 엣지 기록 동작을 수행하는 광 디스크로 구성된-투광성 기판(101)과, 상기 투과성 기판 상에 형성된 제1유전층(102)과, 상기 제1유전층상에 형성한 기록층(103)과, 상기 기록층상에 형성하며, 상기 제1유전층(102)과 함께 기록층을 보호하는 제2유전층(104)과, 상기 제2유전층 상에 형성하며 예정된 투과율을 가지는 반사층(105) 및, 상기 반사층 상에 형성된 제3의 유전층(106)을 포함하며, 상기 기록층(103)이 레이저 빔을 조사하여 결정 상태와 비결정질 상태 사이에서 가역 상변화를 일으키므로써 정보가 기록 및 소거되고, 상기 기록된 정보는 기록층의 상변화를 수행하는 광학 특성이 변화를 검출하므로써 재생되며, 상기 제3유전층(106)은 결정 상태에서의 상기 기록층의 흡수율(Ac)과 비결정 상태에서의 흡수율(Aa)사이에 Ac>Aa의 상관 관계가 성립될 수 있게 제어될 수 있는 막 두께를 가지며, 1.5 이상의 굴절률(n)을 가진 유전체물질로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3유전층의 두께(D)가 λ/6n<D<λ/3n이 되도록 설정되며, 여기서 λ는 정보를 기록 및 재생하는데 사용하는 광선의 파장인 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 광 디스크의 내주부에 있는 제3유전체의 두께(Di)는 λ/3n>DL 및 λ/6n<Di중 하나의 관계식을 만족하도록 설정되며, 여기서 λ는 정보 기록 및 제생 매체로 사용되는 광선의 파장이고, 상기 광 디스크의 외주부에 있는 상기 제3유전층의 두께(마)는 >6n<D↙λ<3n인 관계를 만족시키도록 설정되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3유전체층은 ZnS-SiO2, Al2O3, AlN, 및 TiO3로 구성된 그룹 중에서 선택된 재료로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제3의 유전체층 상에 형성되며 약 1.5의 굴절율을 가지며, 상기 광 디스크의 표면을 손상으로부터 보호하기에 적합한 수지층(107)을 부가로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 반사층은 투과성의 얇은 금속막 및 투과성의 고굴절율을 가지는 재료의 그룹에서 선택된 재료로 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 광학 정보 기록 매체.
