Abstract

본 발명은, 텔레비젼이나 컴퓨터 등의 표시장치에 사용되는 고성능액티브매트릭스형 컬러액정표시패널에 관한 것으로서, 품질이 안정된 컬러액정표시패널을 얻는 것을 목적으로 한 것이며, 그 구성에 있어서, 한쪽의 기판내면에 박막에 의해 형성되는 스위칭소자(1)와 화소전극(2)과 급전배선(4)을 구비하고, 다른쪽의 기판내면에 0.3㎛ 이상의 오목블록을 가진 컬러필터(8)와 블랙마스크(7)를 구비하고, 2개의 기판(10) 사이에 액정층을 형성하므로써 구성되고, 또한 복수의 화소마다 컬러필터(8)와 블랙마스크(7)의 중첩부의 길이를 적어도 상하 또는 좌우방향의 한쪽에서 다른 구성으로 하므로써, 러빙시의 문질러내림부에 있어서의 역틸트영역의 발생을 방지하고, 광누출이 없는 뛰어난 표시품질을 가진 컬러액정표시패널을 얻는 것을 특징으로 한 것이다.

Claims (5)

  1. 한쪽의 기판내면에 박막에 의해 형성되는 스위칭소자와 화소전극과 급전배선을 구비하고, 다른쪽의 기판내면에, 0.3㎛ 이상의 오목블록을 가진 컬러필터와 블랙마스크를 구비하고, 2장의 기판 사이에 액정층을 형성하므로써 구성되고, 또한 복수의 화소마다 상기 컬러필터와 상기 블랙마스크의 중첩부의 길이를, 적어도 상하 또는 좌우방향의 한쪽에서 다른 구성으로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러액정표시패널.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 화소가 델타배열이고, 한쪽의 기판내면에 스위칭소자와 화소전극과 화소전극에 접속된 축적용량을 가지고, 다른쪽의 기판내면에 평면형상이 도트형상인 컬러필터를 가지고, 상기 축적용량의 부분과 상기 컬러필터가 서로 대향하는 구성을 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러액정표시패널.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 2장의 기판내면에는 배향막이 형성되고, 러빙하므로써 소정의 방향으로, 액정을 배향시키는 액티브매트릭스형의 컬러액정표시패널로서, 스위칭소자를 가진 기판쪽의 블록형상부를 러빙할때에 문질러내림으로 되는 부분에 대하여, 대향하는 다른 한쪽의 기판의 컬러필터와 블랙마스크의 중첩부의 길이를, 상기 블록형상부의 러빙시에 문질러올림으로 되는 부분에 대한 대향하는 컬러필터와 블랙마스크의 중첩부의 길이보다도 길게 한 구성으로 가진 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러액정표시패널.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 스위칭소자를 가진 기판쪽의 블록형상부를 러빙할 때에 문질러내림으로 되는 부분에 대하여, 대향하는 다른 한쪽의 기판의 컬러필터와 블랙마스크의 중첩부의 길이를 10㎛ 이상으로 한 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러액정표시패널.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 한쪽의 기판내면에 포토패턴형 컬러필터를 가지고, 그위에 평탄화를 위한 오버코팅층을 형성하지 않는 것을 특징으로 하는 컬러액정표시패널.
