우수한 탄성, 내충격성을 갖고 완충포장재, 단열재 등에 적절히 사용되는 스티렌계수지발포성형체 및 이성형체의 제조에 사용되는 발포성스티렌계수지입자 및 성형체의 제조방법.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
발포제로서 n-펜탄을 주성분으로 하고 부타디엔으로 개질된 스티렌계수지로서, 고시스폴리부타디엔의 존재하에 스티렌계단량체를 그라프트중합하여 얻어진 수지를 사용하여 숙성완료후의 예비발포입자의 기포미세화현상의 개선과 탄성, 내충격성의 향상.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
기존수지입자가 고시스폴리부타디엔과 스티렌계단량체의 그라프트중합으로 얻어지는 스티렌계수지입자로서, 발포제가 n-펜탄을 주성분으로 하고 발포후의 성형체가 0.015~0.040g/㎤의 밀도, 60~300㎛의 평균기포경, 50% 이상의 독립기포율을 갖는 스티렌계수지발포성형체를 제공.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
탄성, 내충격성을 필요로 하는 각종 OA기기, 오디오기기, 가전제품 등의 완충포장재 또는 단열재.

Claims (11)

  1. 기본수지입자가, 고시스폴리부타디엔과 스티렌단량체와의 그라프트중합으로 얻어지는 스티렌계수지입자이며, 발포제가 N-펜탄을 주성분으로 함유하고, 발포후의 성형체가 0.015~0.040g/㎠의 밀도, 60-300㎛의 평균기포경, 50% 이상의 독립기포율을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 기본수지입자가 고시스폴리부타디엔성분을 6~15중량% 함유하는 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 고시스폴리부타디엔이 시스-1,4-결합을 80중량% 이상 함유하는 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 기본수지입자가, 스티렌계단량체와 고시스폴리부타디엔과의 그라프트중합으로 형성되고, 스티렌계단량체가 스티렌단량체단독 또는 스티렌단량체와 아크릴로니트릴, 메타크릴로니트릴, 아크릴산, 메타크릴산, 메타크릴산메틸 또는 무수말레인산과의 혼합물인 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 발포성형체가 0.2~4.0중량%인 발포제를 함유하는 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 성형체가 완충포장재의 형태인 스티렌계수지발포성형체.
  7. 제1항의 스티렌계수지발포성형체에 사용되고, 기본수지입자가 고시스폴리부타디엔과 스티렌계단량체와의 그라프트중합으로 얻어지는 스티렌계수지입자이고 발포제가 n-펜탄을 주성분으로하여 스티렌계수지입자에 3~10중량% 함유하여 된 발포성스티렌계수지입자.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 발포제가 70중량% 또는 그 이상의 n-펜탄을 함유하는 발포성스티렌계수지입자.
  9. 제1항의 스티렌계수지발포성형체의 제조방법으로서, 고시스폴리부타디엔과 스티렌계단량체와의 그라프트중합으로 얻어진 스티렌계수지입자를 수성매체중에 현탁시키고 n-펜탄을 주성분으로 하는 발포제의 존재하에, 100~150℃의 온도에서 상기 수지입자에 발포제를 함침시켜 발포제를 수지입자중 3~10중량% 함유하는 발포성스티렌계수지입자를 얻은후, 이것을 예비발포시켜 예비발포입자를 얻고, 이어서 이 발포입자를 원하는 금형내에서 발포성형하는 것으로 된 발포성형체의 제조방법.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 스티렌계수지입자가 원추형 펠릿형태인 발포성형체의 제조방법.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 발포성스티렌계수지입자가 구형의 입자형태인 발포성형체의 제조방법.
