Abstract
PURPOSE: The title resin composition having improved cushioning and maintenance of a blowing agent, obtained by forming a mixture of plural kinds of vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon block copolymer in a specific compostion and styrene resin into a particulate molding material, which is impregnated with a blowing agent.
CONSTITUTION: A particulate molding material of a mixture of A) 100 parts by wt. of a composition and B) 10W250 parts by wt. of styrene resin is impregnated with a blowing agent to give the desired composition. The composition A comprises a) a block copolymer containing 55W85 wt% of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon consisting of a') one or more vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon blocks and a') one or more conjugated diene blocks, obtained by using an organic lithium compound as a catalyst in an inert blocks, and b) a block copolymer containing not less than 75 wt% of a vinyl aromatic. hydrocarbon obtained by the same method as in the case of the ingredient a. A weight ratio of the ingredient a to b is not less than 1.5 and not less than 35 wt% of the polymer chain of the ingredient a has substantially the same structure as that of the ingredient b.
