Abstract

본 발명은 수성, 방사선-경화가능한, 기능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물 및 그 제조에 관한 것이다. 본 조성물은 제1단 중합체 및 α, β-불포화 카르보닐 기능기를 가지며 UV방사선에 의한 경화를 가능케하여주는 제2단 중합체로 부터 형성된 다단 라텍스 중합체이다. 최종 경화돈 UV코팅을 우수한 내용매성, 내수성, 스테인내성, 직접 충격 내성 및 고온 프린트 내성을 갖는다. 본 조성물은 도료, 접착제, 잉크 및 피혁코팅에 유용하며, 특히 목재에 대한 코팅으로서 유용하다. 본 발명의 방사선-경화가능한 다단 중합체는 (a)(1)제1단 중합체, 및 (2)산 기능기를 포함하는 최소한 하나의 공단량체를 함유하는 제2단 중합체를 다단 중합체를 형성하고;(b)상기 다단 중합체의 제2단 중합체의 상기 산 기능기를 염기와 함께 부분 중화시키고; (c)부분 중화된 산 기능기를 갖는 상기 다단 중합체를 모노에틸렌계 불포화 에폭시드 화합물과 함께 반응시킴에 의하여 제조된다.

Claims (15)

  1. (a)제1단 중합체; 및 (a)α,β-불포화 카르보닐 기능기를 갖는 제2단 중합체를 포함하며, 상기 제1단 중합체와 상기 제2단 중합체의 중량비가 20:80 내지 70:30인, 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체와 상기 제2단 중합체의 중량비가 30:70 내지 50:50인 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제2단 중합체가 (메트)아크릴레이트 기능기를 포함하는 것인 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  4. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체가 그 제1단 중합체의 10wt%이하의 최소한 하나의 교차결합성 공단량체를 포함하는 것인 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체가 1-5wt%의 최소한 하나의 교차결합성 공단량체를 포함하는 것인 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  6. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 교차결합성 공단량체가 알릴 메타크릴레이트인 것인 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체 조성물.
  7. (a)제1단 중합체; 및 (2)산 기능기를 포함하는 최소한 하나의 공단량체를 함유하는 제2단 중합체를 갖는 다단 중합체를 형성하고; (b)상기 다단 중합체의 제2단 중합체의 상기 산 기능기를 염기와 함께 부분 중화시키고;(c)부분 중화된 산 기능기를 갖는 상기 다단 중합체를 모노 에틸렌계 불포화 에폭시드 화합물과 함께 반응시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 하는, 방사선-경화가능한 다단 중합체의 제조방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 부분 중화된 산 기능기를 갖는 상기 다단 중합체가 모노에틸렌계 불포화 에폭시드 화합물과 함께 반응되기 전에 4차 암모늄 상전이 촉매(phase transfer catalyst)가 첨가되는 것인 방법.
  9. (a)물; 및 (b)(1)제1단 중합체, 및 (2)α,β-불포화 카르보닐 기능기를 갖는 제2단 중합체를 포함하며, 상기 제1단 중합체와 상기 제2단 중합체의 중량비가 20:80 내지 70:30인, 방사선-경화가능한 라텍스 중합체를 함유하는 도료 조성물.
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 개시제를 함유하는 도료 조성물.
  11. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체와 상기 제2단 중합체의 중량비가 30:70 내지 50:50인 도료 조성물.
  12. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 제2단 중합체가 (메트)아크릴레이트 기능기를 포함하는 것인 도료 조성물.
  13. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체가 그 제1단 중합체의 10wt%이하의 최소한 하나의 교차결합성 공단량체를 포함하는 것인 도료 조성물.
  14. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 제1단 중합체가 1-5wt%의 최소한 하나의 교차결합성 공단량체를 포함하는 것인 도료 조성물.
  15. 제13항에 있어서, 상기 교차 결합성 공단량체가 알릴메타크릴레이트인 것인 도료 조성물.
