Abstract

본 발명은, 기판상에 자화용이축이 막면의 법선에 대해서 경사지고 있으며 40원자%, 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛이하의 Co기의 제1의 자성층이 형성되고, 그 위에 자화용 이축이 막면의 법선에 대해서 경사지고 있으며 37원자% 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛이하의 Co기의 제2의 자성층이 형성되어 있으며 제1의 자성층의 산소농도가 제2의 자성층의 산소농도 보다도 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체에 관한 것이며, 이로서, 재생출력의 향상 및 노이즈의 저감을 달성할 수 있고, 높은S/N을 얻을 수 있는 자기기록매체 및 그 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.

Claims (5)

  1. 기판상에 자화용이축이 막면의 법선에 대해서 경사지고 있으며 40원자% 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛이하의 Co기의 제1의 자성층이 형성되고, 그 위에 자화용 이축이 막면의 법선에 대해서 경사지고 있으며 37원자% 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛ 이하의 Co기의 제2의 자성층이 형성되어 있으 며, 제1의 자성층의 산소농도가 제2의 자성층의 산소농도보다도 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 제1의 자성층에 있어서의 긴쪽방향의 보자력이, 상기 제2의 자성층에 있어서의 긴쪽 방향의 보자력보다도 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체.
  3. 진공증착법에 의해 원통형상캔을 따라서 주행하고 있는 기판상에, 40원자% 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛ 이하의 Co기의 제1의 자성층을 형성하고, 그위에 37원자% 이하의 농도의 산소를 함유하는 막두께 0.15㎛ 이하의 Co기의 제2의 자성층을 형성할때에, 제1의 자성층 및 제2의 자성층과 함께, 막형성개시부에 있어서의 증발원자의 기판으로의 입사각을 기판법선방향에 대해서 85°이하로하고, 막형성종료부에 있어서의 증발원자의 기판으로의 입사각을 35°이상으로해서, 제1의 자성층의 산소농도가 제2의 자성층의 산소농도보다도 높게되도록 진공조내부에 산소를 도입하면서 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체의 제조방법.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 진공증착에 의해 원통형상캔을 따라서 주행하고 있는 고분자기판상에 Co기의 산화막을 형성하고, 그위에 상기 제1의 지성층 및 상기 제2의 자성층을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체의 제조방법.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 Co기의 산화막이 기동형상구조를 하고 있으며, 기동형상결정입자의 막면의 법선에 대한 경사각이 40°이하인것을 특징으로 하는 자기기록매체의 제조방법.
