Abstract

본 발명은 철 기재 분말 및 합금 분말로 이루어지는 개선된 금속 가공용 분말 조성물을 제공한다. 이 조성물은 결합제로서 약7,000 이상의 수평균 분자량을 갖는 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드를 함유한다. 본 발명의 결합제는 결합제 함유 분말 조성물이 결합제 미함유 조성물의 압축성과 동등한 압축성에 달성하는 것을 허용하고, 합금 분말의 산분화 및 편분화를 방지한다.

Claims (14)

  1. 철 기재 분말, 1종 이상의 합금 분말 소량, 및 철 기재 분말 및 합금 분말을 위한 유기 결합제로 이루어지고, 상기 결합제의 40 중량% 이상이 하기 일반식의 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드인 것을 특징으로 하는 개선된 금속 가공용 분말 조성물.
    식 중, R은 H, CH3또는 C2H5이고, n은 약7,000이상의 수평균 분자량을 제공하기에 충분한 옥시알킬렌 반복단위의 평균 갯수이다.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 유기 결합제가 철 기재 분말 및 합금 분말의 중량을 기준으로 하여 약 1 중량% 이하의 양으로 존재하고, 철 기재 분말이 약 150 마이크론 이하의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 조성물.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 에틸렌 글리콜의 단독 중합체 또는 공중합체로 이루어지는 조성물.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 약 15,000 내지 100,000의 수평균 분자량을 가지고, 철 기재 입자가 약 70 내지 100 마이크론의 평균 입자 크기를 갖는 조성물.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 약 15,000 내지 35,000의 평균 분자량을 갖는 조성물.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 유기 결합제의 약 50중량% 이상을 구성하는 조성물.
  7. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 폴리아릴렌 옥사이드가 에틸렌 글리콜의 단독 중합체 또는 공중합체이고, 유기 결합제의 약 75중량% 이상을 구성하는 조성물.
  8. 제1항에 있어서, 약 700MPa 이하의 압착 압려게서 그의 결합제 미함유 유사 조성물과 적어도 동등한 압축성을 갖는 금속 가공용 분말 조성물.
  9. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 조성물 중의 합금 분말에 대한 결합제의 중량비가 하기 표에 따르는 조성물.
    합급분말의밀도(g/㎤) 입자 크기에 따른 합금 분말에 대한 결합제의 증량비 10㎛ 이하 10㎛ 초과 내지 20㎛이하 20㎛ 초과 ≤2.5＞2.5-4.5＞4.5-7.0＞7.0 0.1250.1000.0500.025 0.125-0.1750.100-0.1250.050-0.0750.025-0.050 ≥0.175≤0.1250.075-0.1250.050-0.10
  10. 제9항에 있어서, 약 700MPa이하의 압착 압력에서 그의 결합제 미함유 유사 조성물과 적어도 동등한 압축성을 갖는 금속 가공용 분말 조성물.
  11. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 에틸렌 글리콜의 단독 중합체 또는 공중합체이고, 이 조성물이 약 700MPa 이하의 압착 압력에서 그의 결합제 미함유 유사 조성물과 적어도 동등한 압축성을 갖는 금속 가공용 분말 조성물.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 상기 조성물 중의 합금 분말에 대한 결합제의 중량비가 하기 표에 따른 조성물.
    합급분말의밀도(g/cm3) 입자 크기에 따른 합금 분말에 대한 결합제의 중량비 10㎛ 이하 10㎛ 초과 내지 20㎛ 이하 20㎛ 초과 ≤2.5＞2.5-4.5＞4.5-7.0＞7.0 0.1250.1000.0500.025 0.125-0.1750.100-0.1250.050-0.0750.025-0.050 ≥0.175≤0.1250.075-0.1250.050-0.10
  13. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드가 약 75,000 이상의 평균 분자량을 가지고, 상기 유기 결합제가 필수적으로 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드 약 60 내지 95중량% 및 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드를 위한 가소제 약 5 내지 40중량%로 구성되는 조성물.
  14. 제9항에 있어서, 상기 폴리알킬렌 약75,000 이상의 평균 분자량을 가지고, 상기 유기 결합제가 필수적으로 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드 약 60 내지 95중량% 및 상기 폴리알킬렌 옥사이드를 위한 가소제 약 5 내지 40중량%로 구성되는 조성물.
