Abstract
전송된 기호에 에러없는 수신에 장애가 되는 통신 채널용 평활기/디코더는 복수개의 동등한 서브 채널로 수신된 신호의 샘플에서 동작되는 변경된 비터비 디코더를 포함한다. 서브 채널의 각 평가는 비터비 격자 처리에서 국부적으로 최상의 평가를 사용하여 갱신되며, 그것에 의해 디지탈 셀룰러 통신 채널과 같이 급속히 변하는 채널에서 채널 평가를 갱신하는데 있어서의 지연을 회피하게 된다. 누설 예측기 채널 갱신법도 역시 대체 가능한 실시예에서 유리하다.

제1도는 본 발명을 사용하는 통신 시스템의 블럭 다이어그램 표현도, 제2도는 디지탈 셀룰러 통신 시스템에서 전형적인 이동국에서 기지국으로 그리고 기지국에서 이동장치로 통신하기 위한 슬롯 포맷(slot formats)도, 제3도는 통신 시스템을 DQPSK변조 회로에서 기초에 대한 단계할당(phase assignmets)도.
Claims (11)
- 기호율 I/T로 통신 채널에 공급되며, K=1, 2, 3,...인 기호의 시이퀀스 Ck를 나타내며 통신 채널에서 나오는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호 r(t)를 수신하는 것을 구비하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호를 디코딩하는 방법에 있어서, 지속 기간 T의 K번째 주기에 대해 R이 정수이며 ℓ=1, 2,..., R인 r(t)의 R샘플세트, rk(ℓ)를 발생하기 위해 R/T율로 샘플링 r(t)하는 단계, 후보 (M+1)-기호 시이퀀스의 세트 Ck-m, Ck-(m-1),..., Ck-1, Ck각각에 대해 각각 상기 채널의 출력에 대한 부분적인 평가를 나타내며, ℓ=1, 2,..., R인 한 세트의 R값 Sk(ℓ)을 발생시키는 단계, 후보 시이퀀스 각각에 대해 ℓ=1, 2,..., R인 값 rk(ℓ)과 Sk(ℓ)간 차이를 반영하는 에러 신호를 형성하는 단계와, 상기 에러신호에 대해 최소값을 내는 후보 시이퀀스내의 기호를 상기 채널에 공급된 기호로서 선택하는 단계를 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 r(t)는 시간에 따라 변하는 다중 경로 통신 채널로 부터 수신되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 선택 단계는 상기 에러 신호에 대해 상기 최소값을 내는 상기 후보 시이퀀스로부터 기호 Ck를 선택하는 것을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 에러 신호 형성단계는 ℓ의 값에 각각에 대해, 상기 각각의 rk(ℓ)와 Sk(ℓ)간의 차의 제곱을 형성하고 그 차를 더하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 Sk(ℓ)는 채널 임펄스 응답 평가의 샘플을 갖는 상기 Ck사이퀀스의 콘벌루션에 기초하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제5항에 있어서, 상기 콘벌루션은인 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 한 세트의 R값 Sk(ℓ)을 발생하는 단계는 상기 채널 특성의 각 부분 평가에 기초한 상기 출력의 각 부분 평가를 결정하는 것을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 에러 신호에 응답하여 상기 채널 특성의 상기 부분 평가를 갱신하는 단계를 부가적으로 구하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 각 rk(ℓ)와 채널 출력의 노이즈 없는 평가 간의 차이를 나타내는 신호에 따라 상기 채널 특성의 상기 부분 평가를 갱신하는 단계를 부가적으로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 노이즈 없는 채널출력의 평가는 실제로 전송된 기호에 대한 잠정적인 결정에 따라 발생되는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.
- 제7항에 있어서, 상기 각 채널 특성의 현재 평가에 기초한 예측을 나타내는 신호에 따라 상기 채널 특성에 대한 상기 각각의 부분 평가를 갱신하는 단계를 부가적으로 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시간에 따라 변하는 신호의 디코딩방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
