Claims (11)
- (ⅰ) 제2컬럼의 유입구로부터 가스를 회수하면서, 가스를 보다 높은 압력의 제2흡착 컬럼의 유출구로부터 낮은 압력의 제1흡착 컬럼의 유출구로 도입하여 컬럼안의 압력을 실질적으로 평형으로 만들고 ; (ⅱ)(ⅰ)단계의 평형화 후, 제2컬럼의유입구로부터 계속 가스를 회수하면서, 보다 높은 압력의 생성물 저장조안에 함유된 가스 생성물을 제1컬럼의 유출구로도입하여 제1컬럼을 되채움하고 ; (ⅲ) 제2컬럼의 유출구에 생성물 스트림 일부를 도입하여 제2컬럼을 퍼지하고 동시에 제2컬럼의 유입구로부터 가스를 회수하여 제2컬럼으로부터 질소가 풍부한 가스를 탈착 및 배기시키면서, 예정된 최소 압력의 제1컬럼 유입구에 공급가스를 도입하고 제1컬럼의 유출구로 부터 산소가 풍부한 가스를 회수하여 상기 산소가 풍부한 스트림을 생성물 저장조에 도입하고 ; (ⅳ) 제1컬럼의 유입구로부터 가스를 회수하면서 가스를 초기의 높은 압력의 제1컬럼의 유출구로부터 제2컬럼의 유출구로 도입하여 컬럼안의 압력을 평형으로 만들고 ; (ⅴ)(ⅳ)단계의 평형화 후, 제1컬럼의 유입구로부터 가스를 계속 회수하면서, 보다 높은 압력의 생성물 저장조안에 함유된 산소가 풍부한 가스 생성물을 제2컬럼의 유출구에 도입하고 ; (ⅵ) 제1컬럼의 유출구에 생성물 스트림 일부를 도입하여 제1컬럼을 퍼지하고 동시에 제1컬럼의 유입구로부터 가스를 회수하여 제1컬럼으로부터 질소가 풍부한 가스를 탈착 및 배기시키면서, 예정된 최소 압력의제2컬럼 유입구에 공급 가스를 도입하고 제2컬럼의 유출구로부터 산소가 풍부한 가스를 회수하여 상기 산소가 풍부한 스트림을 생성물 저장조에 도입하고 ; (ⅶ) 생성물 저장조로부터 산소가 풍부한 가스 생성물을 회수하면서 (ⅰ) 내지 (ⅵ)단계를 순환 반복함을 포함하는, 질소를 선택적으로 흡착할 수 있는 흡착제를 함유하는 2개의 흡착 컬럼과 생성물 저장조를 사용하여 적어도 산소와 질소를 함유하는 공급 가스로부터 산소가 풍부한 생성물 스트림을 생산하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, (ⅲ) 및 (ⅵ)단계에 도입된 상기 공급 가스가 약 0 내지 7 psig 압력의 공기이고, 상기 흡착제가 약 8내지 35메쉬의 미세한 제올라이트 입자인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 미세한 제올라이트 입자가 약 12 내지 약 20 메쉬의 크기를 갖는 비드 또는 펠릿 형태인 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (ⅰ) 및 (ⅳ)단계가 약 2 내지 6초내에 일어나고, 상기 (ⅱ) 및 (ⅴ)단계가 약 1 내지 5초내에 일어나고 ; 상기 (ⅲ) 및 (ⅵ)단계가 약 10 내지 25초내에 일어나는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 (ⅰ) 및 (ⅳ)단계가 약 4초내에 일어나고 ; (ⅱ) 및 (ⅴ)단계가 약 3초내에 일어나고 ; 상기 (ⅲ)및 (ⅵ)단계가 약 18초내에 일어나는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (ⅰ) 및 (ⅳ)단계가 컬럼내의 압력을 약 470내지 약 500토르의 압력으로 평형화시킴을 포함하고 ;상기 (ⅱ) 및 (ⅴ)단계의 상기 가스 생성물이 약 800토르의 압력에서 도입되고 ; 상기 공급 가스가 약 0 내지 7psig의 압력에서 (ⅲ) 및 (ⅵ)단계에 도입되는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 공급 가스가 약 5 psig 미만의 압력에서 (ⅲ) 및 (ⅵ)단계에 도입되는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 (ⅰ) 내지 (ⅵ)단계가 약 30초 미만내에 수행되는 방법.
- 2개의 흡착 컬럼, 공기 공급 스트림을 수용하고 산소가 풍부한 스트림을 생산하는 상기 2개의 흡착 컬럼을 반복적으로 순환시키는 수단 및 상기 흡착 컬럼 모두에 연결되어 있고 상기 반복적인 순환 과정중에 상기 흡착 컬럼중 어느 하나로부터연소해서 가스르 회수하기에 적합한 진공 펌프 수단을 포함하는, 상기 공기 공급 스트림으로부터 상기 산소가 풍부한 가스 스트림을 연속 생산하기 위한 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서 사익 공기 공급 스트림이 약 0 내지 7 psig의 압력을 갖고 상기 흡착 컬럼이 약 8 내지 35메쉬의 미세한 제올라이트 입자 물질을 함유하는 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 미세한 제올라이트 입자 물질이 12 내지 20메쉬의 크기를 갖는 비드 또는 펠릿 형태인 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
