Claims (45)

  1. 필수적으로 (a) 치료학적 유효량의 메트로니다졸, (b) 메트로니다졸의 용해도를 증진시키고 조성물의 겔화(gening)를 야기시키는데 유효한 량의 폴리카복실화된 비닐 중합체, 및 (c) 수성 용매, 및 (d) 약 2중량% 내지 약 5중량%의 침투 증진제로 이루어지고, 실질적으로 여드름 유발성, 좌창 유발성, 자극성, 및 피부--건조 성분을 함유하지 않는 수성 겔 조성물 형태의 국소 적용용 피부용 제제.
  2. 제 1 항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.1중량% 내지 약 1.5중량%인 조성물.
  3. 제 2 항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.25중량% 내지 약 1.0중량%인 조성물.
  4. 제 3 항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.75중량%인 조성물.
  5. 제 1 항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.2중량% 내지 약 7.0중량%의 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
  6. 제 5 항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.5중량% 내지 약 1.5중량%의 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
  7. 제 6 항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.6중량%의 양으로 존재하는 조성물.
  8. 제 1 항에 있어서, 중합체가 친수성, 고분자량의 폴리카복실화된 비닐 중합체인 조성물.
  9. 제 8 항에 있어서, 중합체가 폴리아크릴산 중합체인 조성물.
  10. 제 9 항에 있어서, 중합체의 분자량이 약 1,250,000 내지 약 3,000,000달톤(daltons)인 조성물.
  11. 제 1 항에 있어서, 추가로 유효량의 에틸렌디아민 - 테트라아세트산(EDTA)을 함유하는 조성물.
  12. 제 1 항에 있어서, 침투 증진제의 농도가 약 3중량%인 조성물.
  13. 제 1 항에 있어서, 침투 증진제가 DMSO 또는 프로필렌 글리콜인 조성물.
  14. 제 1 항에 있어서, 추가로 유효량의 보존제를 함유하는 조성물.
  15. 제14항에 있어서, 보존제가 하나 이상의 파라벤으로 이루어진 조성물.
  16. 제15항에 있어서, 보존제가 약 0.08중량%의 메틸 파라벤 및 약 0.02중량%의 프로필 파라벤으로 이루어진 조성물.
  17. 제 1 항에 있어서, 조성물의 pH가 생리학적으로 적합한 산성 pH인 조성물.
  18. 제17항에 있어서, pH가 약 3 내지 약 6.9인 조성물.
  19. 제18항에 있어서, pH가 약 4 내지 5인 조성물.
  20. 제 1 항에 있어서, 수성 용매가 증류수인 조성물.
  21. 필수적으로 (a) 치료학적 유효량의 메트로니다졸, (b) 메트로니다졸의 용해도를 증진시키고 조성물의 겔화를 야기시키는데 유효한 량의 폴리카복실화된 비닐 중합체, 및 (c) 수성 용매로 이루어진 수성 겔 조성물을 함유하는 피부용 제제 유효량을 국소적으로 적용시킴을 특징으로 하여, 피부질환으로 고생하는 사람을 예방학적 또는 치료학적으로 치료하는 방법.
  22. 제21항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.1중량% 내지 약 1.5중량%인 방법.
  23. 제22항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.25중량% 내지 약 1.0중량%인 방법.
  24. 제23항에 있어서, 메트로니다졸의 농도가 약 0.75중량%인 방법.
  25. 제21항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.2중량% 내지 약 7.0중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  26. 제25항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.5중량% 내지 약 1.5중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  27. 제26항에 있어서, 중합체가 약 0.6중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  28. 제21항에 있어서, 중합체가 친수성, 고분자량의 폴리카복실화된 비닐 중합체인 방법.
  29. 제28항에 있어서, 중합체가 폴리아크릴산 중합체인 방법.
  30. 제29항에 있어서, 중합체의 분자량이 약 1,250,000 내지 약 3,000,000달톤(daltons)인 방법.
