Claims (21)
- SiO247.5 내지 56중량%, Al2O331 내지 40중량%, MgO 12 내지 19중량%, 및 CaO 0.15 내지 1중량%를 함유한 코오디어라이트로 필수적으로 이루어지며 적어도 138MPa (20,000 Psi)의 금속요곡 강도를 갖는 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 코오디어라이트체가 불순물로서, 산화물을 기준으로 하여, MgO 및 CaO외에 0.3중량% 미만의 전체 알카리성 토금속 산화물, 250ppm 미만의 Na2O, 150ppm 미만의 K2O 및 500ppm 미만의 전이금속을 갖는 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 코오디어라이트가 합성물질을 사용하여 제조된 소결된 내화체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 산화물을 기준으로하여 MgO 및 CaO를 제외한 알카리성 토금속 함량이 약 1,000ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제4항에 있어서, 알칼리성 토금속 함량이 약 500ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 산화물을 기준으로 하여 전이금속의 함량이 200ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제6항에 있어서, 산화물을 기준으로 하여 전이금속의 함량이 100ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 평균 요곡강도가 적어도 155MPa (22, 500psi)인 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 유전상수가 1MHZ 및 25℃에서 측정시 약 5.2 미만이고, 밀도가 이론상 밀도의 적어도 96%인 소결된 내화체.
- 제2항에 있어서, 산화물을 기준으로 하여 알카리 금속 함량이 전체 조성물의 750ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제10항에 있어서, 산화물을 기준으로 하여 알카리 금속함량이 전체 조성물의 500ppm 미만인 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, 48.7 내지 54.1중량%의 SiO2, 32.6 내지 37.7중량%의 Al2O3, 및 12.8 내지 16.6중량%의 MgO를 함유하는 소결된 내화체.
- 제12항에 있어서, 50.3 내지 52.2중량%의 SiO2, 34.3 내지 35.7중량%의 Al2O3및 13.3 내지 14.6중량%의 MgO를 함유하는 소결된 내화체.
- 제1항에 있어서, Si, Al, Mg 및 Ca의 산화물의 전체 중량을 기준으로 하여 산화칼슘의 양이 0.25 내지 0.75중량%인 소결된 내화체.
- 제14항에 있어서, 산화칼슘의 양이 0.4 내지 0.6중량%인 소결된 내화체.
- 내화체의 전체중량을 기준으로 하여, SiO250.3 내지 52.2중량%, Al2O334.3 내지 35.7중량%, MgO 13.3 내지 14.6중량% 및 CaO 0.4 내지 0.6중량%를 함유하고 합성원료를 사용하여 제조한 코오디어라이트로 필수적으로 이루어지며 CaO 및 MgO 이외에 불순물로서 500ppm 미만의 전체 알카리 금속산화물, 100ppm 미만의 전체 전이금속 산화물, 및 500ppm 미만의 전체 알카리 토금속 산화물을 함유하고, 평균 요곡강도가 적어도 138MPa (20,000psi)인 소결된 등방성 내화체.
- (a) 합성 원료로부터 합성 코오티어라이트 전구체 분말을 제조하고, (b) 산화칼슘과 단계 (a) 분말의 수성 슬러지를 제조하며, (c) 슬러리를 처리하여 건조된 산화칼슘-함유 분말을 수득하고, (d) 단계 (c)의 분말로부터 녹색체를 제조하며, (e) 녹색체를 발화시켜 SiO247.5 내지 56중량%, Al2O3내지 40중량%, MgO 12 내지 19중량, 및 CaO 0.15 내지 1중량%를 함유하며 적어도 138MPa의 평균 요곡 강도를 갖는 내화 코오디어라이트체를 형성함을 특징으로 하여, 내화체를 제조하는 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 산화칼슘 공급원이 질산칼슘인 방법.
- 제18항에 있어서, 평균 요곡 강도가 적어도 155Mpa (22,500psi)인 방법.
- 제17항에 있어서, 합성 코오디어라이트 전구 분말의 제조 단계가 500℃ 내지 1150℃의 온도에서 하소하는 과정을 포함하는 방법.
