Claims (12)
- (1) 수소; (2) 일산화탄소; (3) (a)유리 또는 결합형의 몰리브덴, 텅스텐, 또는 이의 혼합물의 제1성분 및 (b)유리 또는 결합형의 알칼리 또는 알칼리토 원소, 또는 이의 혼합물의 제2성분을 함유하는 불균일질 촉매; 및 (4) 1종 이상의 저급 알코올을 반응시킴을 특징으로 하는 생성 알코올중의 탄소원자수가 출발 알코올중의 탄소원자수와 비교하여 증가하는 조건하에서의 고급 알코올의 제조방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 유리 또는 결합형의 코발트, 니켈 또는 철, 또는 이의 혼합물의 제3성분을 갖는 방법.
- 제1 또는 2항에 있어서, 촉매가 지지체인 추가성분을 갖는 방법.
- 제1,2 또는 3항에 있어서, 촉매중의 제1성분이 몰리브덴인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 촉매가 몰리브덴 술피드 및 코발트 술피드를 함유하는 방법.
- 제1,2 또는 3항에 있어서, 제4반응물이 메탄올 함유하는 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 제4반응물이 메탄올 및 고급알코올을 함유하는 혼합 알코올 생성물을 분별 증류시켜 수득된 메탄올을 함유하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 수소 및 일산화탄소가 약 0.7:1 내지 약 3:1의 몰비로 존재하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반응을 약 200°내지 약 400℃의 온도에서 수행하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 반응을 약 500psig(3.55MPa)내지 약 10,000psig(69.1MPa)의 압력하에서 수행하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제4반응물 알코올의 적어도 25중량%를 고급알코올로 전환시키는 방법.
- 제1 내지 11항중 어느 한항에 있어서, 메탄올을 에탄올 및 다른 고급 알코올로 전환시키는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
