Claims (14)
- 하기 화학식 1의 화합물 하나 이상을 포함하는 극성 화합물의 혼합물에 기초한 액정 매질:화학식 1상기 식에서,R1은 탄소원자수 1 내지 15의 할로겐화된 또는 치환되지 않은 알킬 또는 알콕시 라디칼이고, 이 라디칼에서 하나 이상의 CH2 기는 서로 독립적으로 O 원자들이 서로 직접 결합되지 않는 방식으로 , -C≡C-, -CH〓CH-, -O-, -CF2O-, -OCF2-, -CO-O- 또는 -O-CO-로 치환될 수 있고;X는 F, Cl, CN, SF5, SCN, NCS, 탄소원자수 6 이하의, 할로겐화된 알킬 라디칼, 할로겐화된 알케닐 라디칼, 할로겐화된 알콕시 라디칼 또는 할로겐화된 알케닐옥시 라디칼이고;L1, L2, 및 L3은 각각 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 F이다.
- 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서,R1이 알킬 또는 알케닐인 액정 매질.
- 제 6 항에 있어서,전체로서의 혼합물중에 화학식 XIII 내지 XIX의 화합물의 비율이 0.05 내지 30중량% 이상인 액정 매질.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 7 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,화학식 Ⅱ 내지 Ⅵ으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 화합물 하나 이상을 추가로 포함하는 액정 매질:상기 식에서,R0는 탄소원자수 9 이하의 알킬, 알콕시, 옥사알킬, 플루오로알킬, 또는 알케닐이고;X0는 F, Cl, 탄소원자수 6 이하의, 할로겐화된 알킬, 할로겐화된 알케닐, 할로겐화된 옥사알킬, 할로겐화된 알케닐옥시 또는 할로겐화된 알콕시이고;Z0는 -C2F4-, -CF=CF-, -CH〓CH-, -C2H4-, -(CH2)4-, -OCH2-, -CH2O-, -CF2O- 또는 -OCF2-이고;Y1 내지 Y4는 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 F이고;r은 0 또는 1이다.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 8 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,전체로서의 혼합물중에 화학식 1의 화합물의 비율이 0.01 내지 30.0중량%인 액정 매질.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 9 항중 어느 한 항에 있어서,전체로서의 혼합물중에 화학식 1 및 1s의 화합물의 비율이 5중량% 이상인 액정 매질.
- 전기-광학 목적을 위한 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항중 적어도 한 항에 따른 액정 매질의 용도.
- 제 1 항 내지 제 10 항중 적어도 한 항에 따른 액정 매질을 함유하는 전기-광학 액정 디스플레이.
- 하기 화학식 1의 화합물:화학식 1상기 식에서,R1은 탄소원자수 1 내지 15의 할로겐화된 또는 치환되지 않은 알킬 또는 알콕시 라디칼이고, 이 라디칼에서 하나 이상의 CH2 기는 서로 독립적으로 O 원자들이 서로 직접 결합되지 않는 방식으로 -C≡C-, -CH〓CH-, -O-, -CF2O-, -OCF2-, -CO-O- 또는 -O-CO-로 치환될 수 있고;X는 F, Cl, CN, SF5, SCN, NCS, 탄소원자수 6 이하의 할로겐화된 알킬 라디칼, 할로겐화된 알케닐 라디칼, 할로겐화된 알콕시 라디칼 또는 할로겐화된 알케닐옥시 라디칼이고;L1, L2, 및 L3은 서로 독립적으로 H 또는 F이고, 단 L2가 F인 경우 a) L3은 F이거나 b) L1은 H이다.
