Description
Claims (9)
- 복수의 기통을 갖는 다기통 내연 기관에 있어서,각 기통의 배기 포트로부터 연장하는 배기 통로에 마련되고 배기가스를 정화하는 촉매와,적어도 2개 이상의 상기 배기 통로를 연통하는 배기 연통로와,상기 배기 연통로에 마련되는 배기가스 센서를 구비하고,상기 배기 포트로부터 상기 배기가스 센서까지의 거리를 해당 배기 포트로부터 상기 촉매의 상류측 입구까지의 거리 보다 짧게 한 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 복수의 기통을 갖는 다기통 내연 기관에 있어서,각 기통의 배기 포트에 각각 연결하는 배기 포트측 배기 통로와,적어도 2개 이상의 배기 포트측 배기 통로를 합류시키는 배기 통로 합류부와,상기 배기 통로 합류부의 하류에 마련되고 배기가스를 정화하는 촉매와,상기 배기 통로 합류부의 상류에 마련되고, 상기 합류하는 적어도 2개 이상의 배기 포트측 배기 통로를 연통하는 배기 연통로와,상기 배기 연통로에 마련되는 배기가스 센서를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서,상기 배기 연통로 내의 배기가스의 가스 교환을 촉진시키는 가스 교환 촉진 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 가스 교환 촉진 수단은, 상기 배기가스 센서의 하류에 마련된 냉각 공간을 구비하고, 배기가스의 냉각에 의한 체적 변화에 의해 상기 배기 연통로 내의 가스 교환을 촉진하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서,상기 가스 교환 촉진 수단은, 상기 배기가스 센서를 상기 내연 기관의 흡기계와 연통하는 흡기 연통로이고, 배기압과 흡기압의 압력차에 의해 상기 배기 연통로 내의 가스 교환을 촉진하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 각 배기 연통로가 상기 흡기 연통로에 대해 대략 등간격으로 배치되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 3항 또는 제 4항에 있어서,상기 가스 교환 촉진 수단은, 상기 배기가스 센서를 상기 내연 기관의 배기계의 상기 배기 연통로보다 하류측과 연통하는 배기 하류 연통로이고, 상기 배기계의 상류와 하류의 압력차에 의해 상기 배기 연통로 내의 가스 교환을 촉진하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 7항에 있어서,상기 각 배기 연통로가 상기 배기 하류 연통로에 대해 대략 등간격으로 배치되어 있는 것를 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
- 제 3항에 있어서,상기 가스 교환 촉진 수단은, 상기 배기 포트 내에서의 배기가스 흐름선에 대해 예각을 형성하도록 배설된 상기 배기 연통로의 유입부인 것을 특징으로 하는 다기통 내연 기관.
