Abstract

Description

커피 및 이와 비슷한 것을 제분하기 위한 일회-용 플라스틱 캡슐{SINGLE-DOSE PLASTIC CAPSULE FOR POWDERED COFFEE AND LIKE}
본 발명은 여과(percolation)에 의하여 음료들(beverages)의 조제에(preparation) 사용되어진 커피와 다른 음식의(alimentary) 원료 물질들을 제공 하는, 형상화된(moulded) 플라스틱으로 만들어진 일회-용 캡슐에 관한 것이다.
캡슐은 본질적으로 커피 분말(또는 다른 분말의 원료 물질)로 채워진 프러스토코니칼(frustoconical) 형태의 틀 및 밀폐 박(sealing foil)이 붙여진 가장자리로 구성되어 있다. 상기 박은, 에스프레소 커피 및/또는 다른 뜨거운 음료들을 조제하기 위하여 전문적으로 및/또는 가정용 기계로 캡슐을 사용할 때에는, 압력 하에 뜨거운 물이 캡슐 안으로 유입되는 반대쪽으로, 즉 아래쪽으로 향해진다.

상기 발명의 전형적인 예로, 출원인은, 수압 하에서, 수직(vertical) 방향의 흐름으로 분말로 된 원료 물질을 통과하는, 음료를 조제하는 시간에 박에 구멍을 뚫는(tearing) 것을 지지(favour) 하기 위하여 감소된 두께 부분을 생성하며(creating zone) 캡슐의 평평한 하부로, 상기 박에 따라, 구성한 형태로(forming) 형상화된(envisaged) 유럽 특허 EP-A-0 521 510을 인용한다.
여과된 음료의 결과물은 커피 기계 안쪽에서 도달하기 어려운(inaccessible) 파이프들을 따라 운송되어지고, 분배된다.
종래 캡슐들의 사용은-그것들의 독특한 구조의 형태(design) 로 인하여-상기 내부 파이프들의 완벽한 청결을 유지는 것은 가능하지 않고, 음료에(특별히 커피에서) 함유된 지방 물질들의 발효(fermentation) 또는 부패(putrefaction)의 위험이 있는 단점을 가지고 있다. 최소의 부정적인 결과는 음료의 맛이 바람직하지 못하게 변질되는 것이다.
더욱이, 달아서 파는 분말 커피의 (loose coffee powder) 사용량을 비교하는 것, 커피에서 지방물질들의 에멀션화(emulsification)를 얻는 것-보다 더 자세히 말하면 상기 파이프들의 존재(presence)로 인하여 크림이 함유된 텍스처(texture)는 전 세계적으로 정확하게 잘 알려진 이탈리안-풍 에스프레소 커피를 만든다.
상기 발명의 목적은 ,상기 단점을 포함하지 않고 높은-품질의 음료들을 얻을 수 있도록 한, 여과에 의한 음료들의 조제로 커피 및 다른 원료 물질들로 되어진 형상화된 플라스틱 캡슐을 제공하는데 있다.
상기 및 다른 목적들은 첨부되는 도면을 참조하여 일반적인(non-exclusive) 실시예의 기술(description)에 따라 명확히 되어질 것이며, 첨부된 청구 항들의 특유한(characteristic) 특징을 가진 캡슐을 제공함에 있다.
발명에 의하면 캡슐은 음식에 관한 용도인(alimentary use) 한 장의 폴리프로필렌(polypropylene)의 가열 성형에 의하여 만들어진 약간의(slightly) 프러스토코니칼(frustoconical) 형태의 틀로(casing, 10) 구성되어 있다. 틀(10)은 밖으로 돌출되어있는 연속적인 상부 주변 변부(continuous upper peripheral edge, 12) 및 돌출되지 아니한(non-projecting) 하부 변부(14)로 구성 되어 있다. 상부 변부 (12)는 플라스틱 물질 및/또는 알루미늄의 박(13)으로 봉합되도록 설계 되어있다. 이러한 종류의 박은, 음식에 관한(alimentary) 생산물의 일회-용 저장조 (containers)에서 박의 기능뿐만 아니라, 당업자들에게 잘 공지 되어 있으므로, 좀더 자세한 설명할 필요는 없다.
발명의 특유한 특징으로는, 그림 4에서 상세히 보여주는 바와 같이, 틀(10)의 단부 벽(end wall, 16)은 하부 변부(14)에 대한 삽입물(inset)이며, 변부(14)와 단부 벽(16)의 바깥 면(outer surface, 18)사이에는 적어도 2가지 단계가 존재한다. 이러한 점에서, 원료 물질을 포함한 ,상부 저장조(upper chamber, 25) 의 바로 밑에, 하부 저장조 (bottom chamber, 30)가 성형되어지며, 상기 저장조는 여과된 음료를 수용 및 운반이 가능하며, 아래에 보다 더 상세히 설명하면, 제 2 박 (17)에 의해 닫혀 진다. 제 2 박은 캡슐이 불 투과성(impermeable)및 위생(hygienic)적으로 유지하기 위하여 알루미늄으로 결합된 3중의 층(film)으로 형성되는 것이 바람직하며, 상기와 같은 이유로 박(13)과 관련하여 보다 더 자세히 상기 막에 대하여 설명할 필요는 없다고 여겨진다.
또 다른 발명의 특유한 특징으로는, 틀(10)의 단부 벽(16)은, 중심축을 주위로 원뿔형의 첨단(conical cusp, 20)이 상부에 위치하고 대체로 원통형 하부 부분(cylindrical lower portion, 22)이 존재하며, 많은 수의 구멍들(a plurality of orifices, 24) 방사륵(radial ribs, 26)에 의하여 분리된 부분들로(segments) 분포되어진 많은 수의 구멍들(a plurality of orifices, 24)을 갖는다.-그림2 및 4
상기 캡슐은 구멍들(24)을 통하여 음료가 여과되기 바로 전, 원뿔형 첨단의(20) 구멍으로 인하여, 가압의(pressurized) 뜨거운 물의 유입(incoming) 및 제 2 박(17)내의 일직선인 분출구(spout)를 위한 상부 박(13)의 통로를 (도시되지 않음) 만들 수 있는 구멍을 내거나(punching) 구멍을 뚫는(drilling) 수단(means)으로 설비된 기계로서 사용 되어진다. 단부 벽(16)의 형태 및 캡슐로부터 공급된 가압된 뜨거운 물의 결합된(combine) 효과로 인하여, 특히 방사륵(26)에서, 음료는 지방(fatty) 물질들의 에멀션화(emulsification)를 도와주는(favour) 요란한 움직임으로 상기한 하부 저장조(30)에 채워진다. 이러한 방법으로, 예를 들면 좋은 품질의 이탈리안-스타일의 크림이 함유된 커피가 얻어진다.
더욱이, 음료가 제 2 박(17)에 형성된 분출구를 통하여 기계 안에서 구식의(traditional) 파이프들을 통하여 운송(convoy)되어지는 것이 없이, 직접적으로 컵 또는 유리잔 안으로 분배되어지고 결론적으로 상기의 언급된 위험 요소들도 없어진다.
상기 제공된 설명이 바람직한 실시 예와 관련이 있음에도, 발명이 아래의 청구항들 내에서 포함되는 다른 형태들과 변형들로 발현 될 수(develop)있다는 것을 이해해야 한다.

Claims (4)

  1. 여과(percolation)를 시작하기 바로 전 분배 기계(dispensing machine)에 의하여 열리거나 또는 구멍 뚫리는(tear)것이 가능한, 원료 물질로 채워진 밀봉 저장조(sealing storage chamber, 25) 용도의 하부 박(bottom foil, 17) 및 구멍들(orifices, 24)로 장비되어진 단부 벽(end wall, 16)을 갖는 밀봉 성형된-플라스틱 틀(sealed moulded-plastic casing, 10)을 포함하고, 커피와 같은 분말로 된 원료물질을 사용하여 여과된 음료(percolated beverage)를 조제를 하기위한 일회-용 캡슐(single-dose-capsule)에 있어서,
    구멍 뚫린 단부 벽(perforated end wall, 16)은 하부 변부(bottom edge, 14)에 관한 삽입물이며 따라서 하부 저장조(bottom chamber, 30)는 상기 박(17) 및 단부 벽(16)의 하부 면(bottom surface, 18) 사이에 형성되어지며 그리고 음료가 상기 하부 박(17)이 열리거나 구멍 뚫리는(tear)순간 생성된 분출구(spout)를 통하여 아래의 수용기(container)를 향하여 똑바로 배출되어지기(discharge) 전에 상기 구멍(24)들을 통하여 여과되어진 음료로 채워지는 것을 특징으로 하는 커피와 같은 분말로 된 원료물질을 사용하여 여과된 음료를 조제하기위한 일회-용 캡슐.
  2. 제 1 항 에 있어서, 틀(10)의 단부 벽(16) 안에서, 방사륵(radial ribs, 26)에 의해 분리되어지는 부분들(segments), 첨단-형태로 생긴 부분(cusp-shaped portion, 20)을 갖는 중심 핵 주위로 부분들의 형태로 배치된 상기 구멍들(24) 특징으로 하는 여과된 음료의 조제하기위한 일회-용 캡슐.
  3. 제 1 항 또는 제 2 항에 있어서, 알루미늄으로 화합된 얇은 3개의 층으로 구성된 상기 밀폐형 박의 하부(bottom sealing foil, 17)을 특징으로 하는 여과된 음료의 조제하기위한 일회-용 캡슐.
  4. 제 1 항 내지 제 3 항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 식품으로 적합한 폴리프로필렌 급(polypropylene grade)으로 바람직하게 가열성형(thermoforming)에 의하여 만들어지는 것을 특징으로 한 여과된 음료의 조제하기위한 일회-용 캡슐.
