Abstract

Description
사이징 조성물은 일반적으로 페놀-포름알데하이드 수지와, 이 수지를 경화하기 위한 촉매, 실란 접착 촉진제, 먼지 제거용 광물성 오일 등과 같은 첨가제를 포함하는 수용성 조성물의 형태를 갖는다.
조성물이 전달될 수 있도록 하기 위해 (가장 일반적으로는 분무를 통해), 물 속에서 수지의 농도가 충분히 묽어야 한다. 이를 위해, 단위체의 축합도를 제한함으로써 포름알데하이드와 페놀간의 축합 반응을 수행하고, 친수성이 매우 강하지 않고 희석성을 감소시키는 긴 사슬의 형성을 방지하는 것이 일반적이다. 따라서, 수지는 반응하지 않는 단위체, 특히 포름알데하이드를 특정 비율만큼 포함하고, 이것의 휘발성은 유기 화합물을 공장의 대기 중으로 바람직하지 않게 배출할 수 있다.
이러한 원인은 페놀-포름알데하이드 축합 제품이 일반적으로 요소(urea)와 반응하고, 이 요소는 자유 포름알데하이드를 잡아서 비휘발성 축합 제품을 형성하기 때문이다. 수지에 들어있는 요소의 존재는 그 저렴한 가격 때문에 중요한 경제적인 이점을 갖는데, 특히 최종 제품의 기계 특성과 같은 수지의 특성에 실질적으로 영향을 미치지 않으면서 비교적 다량 주입할 수 있기 때문에, 수지의 총 비용을 상당히 줄일 수 있다.
그럼에도 불구하고, 요소-포름알데하이드 축합 제품이 열에는 매우 안정하지는 않은 것으로 밝혀지고, 수지를 사용해서 광물성 울을 사이징하는 경우 (이 동안 수지는 100℃를 초과하는 온도에 노출됨), 요소-포름알데하이드 축합 제품은 열을 받을 경우 공장의 대기로 배출되는 요소, 포름알데하이드 및 암모니아 기체를 다시 돌려주기 때문에, 대기 오염에 관한 한 아주 만족스럽지는 않은 것으로 알려졌다.
본 발명은 광물성 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품 (특히 단열 또는 방음 제품)과 페놀 포름알데하이드 수지를 원료로 한 유기 결합제의 분야에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로 본 발명은 광물성 울을 원료로 한 상기 제품의 제조 중 여러 오염물질의 배출이 감소되는 것에 관한 것으로, 제품의 제조는 섬유화 및 연신을 통해 울 자체를 제조하는 제 1 단계와, 이 광물성 울이 수용 부재에 시트 형태로 수거되는 성형 단계를 포함한다. 시트의 응집(cohesion)을 보장하기 위해, 열경화성 수지를 포함하는 사이징 조성물(sizing composition)이 수용 부재 쪽으로 이동하면서 울 위에 분무된다. 이와 같이 처리된 시트는 수지를 교차 결합시키기 위해 오븐에서 열 처리를 거치고, 치수 안정성, 기계 강도, 압축 후 두께의 회복 및 균일한 색상과 같이 원하는 특성을 갖춘 제품을 얻는다.
본 발명의 목적은 차단 제품을 보다 오염 없이 제조하는 것에 관한 것이고,보다 구체적으로는 차단 제품의 생산비용을 증가시키지 않으면서 제조 라인 상에서 암모니아를 배출하는 것에 관한 것이다.
본 발명은 특정 비율의 요소를 포함하고 이에 따라 비용면에서 경쟁력이 있는 사이징 조성물을 사용해서 차단 제품을 제조하는 동안, 암모니아의 배출을 상당히 줄일 수 있다는 관찰에 근거한다.
이러한 점에서, 본 발명의 대상은 페놀-포름알데하이드 수지를 원료로 하는 결합제로 사이징된 광물성 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품으로, 결합제는

본 발명에 따라, 소량의 원 재료가 거의 완전히 소모될 수 있는 충분한 정도까지 축합 반응을 진행함으로써 자유 페놀의 함량이 우선 제한된다. F/P의 비가 1보다는 크지만 너무 크지 않은 경우, 바람직하게는 3.2 이하인 경우, 적당히 분자량이 큰 종을 형성하는 축합 반응이 일어나고, 이에 따라 매우 긴 페놀-포름알데하이드 축합물 사슬을 생성하는 축합 반응보다 포름알데하이드의 소비가 더 많아지게 된다.
다음으로, 일단 레졸 축합 반응이 완료되면, 자유 형태로 존재하는 잔류 포름알데하이드 분자는 요소에 의해 제거되고, 이 요소의 양은 레졸에 존재하는 자유 포름알데하이드의 함량이 낮을수록 더 작아진다.
따라서, 결합제 중 자유 휘발성 유기 화합물의 함량을 적게 유지하면서, 결합제 혼합물에서 요소의 비율을 제한할 수 있다. 그래서, 제조 라인에서 배출되는 암모니아의 양을 감소시키면서, 페놀 및 포름알데하이드와 같은 휘발성 유기 화합물의 배출을 제한할 수 있다.
본 발명에 대한 필요 조건에서 레졸 형성 반응의 진행을 모니터하기 위해,
- 반응의 진행 특징을 나타내는 자유 페놀의 함량과,
- 자유 포름 알데하이드의 함량과,
- 형성된 축합물 길이의 특징을 나타내는 중화 레졸의 희석성이라는 세 가지의 특징적인 파라미터가 측정된다.
본 발명에 따라, 요소를 첨가하기 전 레졸 중 자유 페놀의 함량은, 고체의 함량이 약 35 내지 45%인 레졸에 대해, 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 2.5 중량% 이하이다. 자유 페놀 함량은 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 2% 이하, 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 유리하게는 1.7% 이하인 것이 바람직하다. 특히, 자유 페놀 함량은 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 약 0.5 내지 1.7%, 예를 들어 0.7 내지 1.6%일 수 있다.
레졸의 자유 포름알데하이드 함량은 고체 함량이 35 내지 45%인 레졸에 대해, 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 25% 이하이다. 자유 포름알데하이드 함량은 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 20% 이하, 유리하게는 15.5% 이하, 특히 12% 이하인 것이 바람직하다. 특히, 자유 포름알데하이드 함량은 약 2 내지 4% 일 수 있다.
레졸의 희석성은 희석의 영구적인 탁도가 관찰되지 않는 레졸의 최대 희석 인자와 일치한다. 희석성은 레졸 중 부피의 백분율로 영구적인 탁도를 만들기 전에 레졸에 첨가될 수 있는 물의 부피로 표현된다. 따라서, 희석성 1500% 라는 것은 혼합물이 탁해지지 않으면서 수지 10ml를 15×10ml의 물로 희석시킬 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 일반적으로 본 발명에 따라, 희석하기 위해 적당한 온도의 탈이온수, 즉 실온에서의 물인 약 15 내지 25℃, 일반적으로 약 20℃ (이 온도 범위에서 희석성은 크게 변하지 않음)의 탈이온수를 이용해서 측정을 행한다.
본 발명에 따라, 축합 공정은 황산으로 중화된 레졸의 희석성을 측정함으로써 모니터된다. 이 원인은 기본 매질로 합성된 레졸이 분자량이 매우 높은 종을 포함하는 경우에도, 비교적 변화 없이 염기성 pH (일반적으로 pH 9)에서 높은 희석성을 갖는다는 사실이 일반적으로 밝혀졌기 때문이다. 이와 반대로, 레졸이 황산으로 중화되었을 경우, 희석성이 변하는데, 페놀-포름알데하이드 축합물의 분자량이 증가할 경우 두드러지게 감소한다. 따라서, 바람직하지 않은 분자량을 갖는 화합물이 존재하는지를 모니터할 수 있다.
본 발명에 따라, 사용된 레졸은 황산으로 중화된 상태에서 희석성이 500%를 초과하고 1500% 이하이며, 바람직하게는 중화된 상태에서 500% 내지 1000%인 것을 특징으로 한다. 중화라는 것은 염기성 촉매에 의해 발생하는 모든 하이드록시기 (OH-)와 반응하는데 충분한 양의 H2SO4의 첨가를 의미하는 것으로 이해해야 하다.
이러한 레졸은 수산화나트륨과 같은 염기성 촉매 존재시 약 50 내지 80℃, 특히 60 내지 75℃, 특히 약 70℃의 온도에서, 약 80 내지 200 분, 특히 90 내지 150분 동안 페놀을 포름알데하이드와 반응하게 함으로써 유리하게 합성될 수 있고, 온도가 높아지고/높아지거나 F/P의 비가 작아질수록 시간은 줄어든다. 이러한 점에서, 과도하게 긴 반응 시간을 피하기 위해서는 3.2로 제한된 F/P의 비가 바람직하다.
특히 수산화나트륨뿐만 아니라 수산화칼륨, 산화칼슘 또는 수산화바륨과 같이 원래부터 알려져 있는 염기성 촉매가 초기 페놀 100 몰 당 6 내지 20 몰의 하이드록시 (OH-) 당량에 해당하는 양만큼 일반적으로 사용된다. 고온 축합 단계에 이어 점진적으로 실온으로 냉각하는 단계가 일반적으로 수행된다.
축합 반응이 바람직하지 않게 계속 진행하는 것을 막기 위해, 레졸을 중화시킴으로써 염기성 촉매를 비활성화시키는 것이 바람직하다. 황산으로 중화시키는 것은 희석성을 1500% (일반적으로 분무 라인에서 우수한 가공성을 보장하는 한계임) 아래로 낮추기 때문에, 나타내지 않는다.
따라서, 본 발명에 따라 사용된 레졸은 붕산 또는 이에 상당하는 붕산염(특히 붕산 암모늄, 메타붕산 나트륨, 테트라붕산 나트륨 또는 아미노 알콜의 다중붕산염), 설팜산 또는 이에 상당하는 설팜산염, 또는 아미노산 (특히 아스파르트산, 글루타민산, 아미노 아세트산 등)으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 산으로 중화되는 것이 유리하다. 그 이유는, 황산으로 얻어진 매질에서보다 상기와 같이 얻어진 중화 매질에서 레졸의 희석성이 더 높게 되도록 레졸을 변화시키는 특성을 이러한 산이 갖고 있기 때문이다. 약 7 내지 9의 pH가 얻어질 때까지 중화가 일어나는 것이 유리하다.
본 발명의 특징이 있는 레졸의 상술한 산 중 하나와 중화하여 얻은 생성물은 중화 후 일반적으로 희석성이 1000%를 초과하고 최대 2000% (2000%를 초과하는 희석성은 무한적이라고 말하는 것이 일반적임)에 달하며, 가볍게 저어주면서 약 12℃에서 3주 동안 저장한 후에는 희석성이 1000% 이상으로 유지된다.
변형예로, 레졸은 임의의 산으로 중화될 수 있지만, 음이온성 계면활성제 및/또는 고무질(gum), 특히 구아(guar) 및 가티(guatti) 고무질, 또는 가능하다면 카세인(casein)과 같은 유화제(emulsifier) 존재시에도 중화될 수 있다. 사용된 산은 황산과 염산과 같이 본래 알려져 있는 강산뿐만 아니라, 붕산, 설팜산 (또는 이에 상당하는 염) 또는 아미노산으로부터 선택될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따라 사용될 수 있는 결합제의 제조는 상술한 바와 같이 레졸과 제한된 양의 요소를 냉각 혼합하는 단계를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따라, 이 혼합물은 요소 10 내지 40 중량부 당 레졸 60 내지 90 중량부 (레졸 중 건조 물질의 중량을 기준으로 측정함)를 포함한다. 이 혼합물은 최대 35 중량부, 특히 15 내지 30 중량부의 요소에 대해, 적어도 65 건조 중량부, 특히 70 내지 85 건조 중량부의 레졸을 포함하는 것이 바람직하다.
다음 단계에서 사이징을 형성하기 위해 사용될 수 있는 저장에 안정한 예비혼합물을 형성하기 위해, 레졸 냉각 후, 바람직하게는 중화 후 즉시 요소가 첨가되거나, 또는 제조 작업시간 중 사이징을 제조하는 바로 그 순간에 첨가될 수 있다. 그러나, 예비혼합물에 요소를 사용하는 것은 제조 라인 중 암모니아를 포함하는 오염물질을 더 적게 배출하기 때문에 바람직할 수 있다.
요소는 포름알데하이드를 붙잡는데 사용할 수 있는 유일한 화합물이 아니고, 특히 레졸과 요소 혼합물의 100 건조 중량부 당 1 내지 20 중량부, 특히 1 내지 10 중량부의 양으로 아황산 암모늄을 또한 첨가할 수 있다. 사이징에서 아황산 암모늄이 만들어내는 암모늄 이온의 주입에도 불구하고, 아황산 암모늄은 암모니아의 배출에 실질적으로 크게 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나, 수지와 요소 중 건조 물질 100 중량부 당 약 1 내지 5 중량부, 특히 약 2 중량부로 아황산 암모늄의 함량을 제한하는 것이 바람직하다.
또한 사이징 조성물은 이와 다른 다음의 일반 성분, 즉
- 수지와 요소 중 건조 물질 100 중량부 당 바람직하게는 1 내지 5 중량부의 양인 경화용 촉매인 황산 암모늄과,
- 하나 이상의 실리콘 및,
- 하나 이상의 광물성 오일을 포함할 수 있다.
보통, 사이징 조성물은 또한 암모니아수(aqueous ammonia)를 포함할 수 있다. 제조 라인에서 암모니아 기체의 배출을 최소화하기 위해, 사이징은 암모니아수가 전혀 없는 것이 바람직하다. 그러나, 수지와 요소 건조 물질의 100 중량부 당 20% 용액 5 중량부 이하의 암모니아수 함량은 올바른 제조를 위해 허용 가능한 한계 이하로 유지될 수 있게 하는 것으로 보인다.
차단 제품 중 사이징의 비율은 일반적으로 광물성 울의 전체 중량에 대해 건조 물질 중 약 1 내지 12 중량%이다.
본 발명의 대상은 또한 상술된 사이징 조성물이다.
다른 양상에 따라, 본 발명의 대상은 차단 제품을 제조하는 동안 암모니아 기체의 배출을 줄이기 위해 상술한 바와 같은 사이징 조성물을 사용하는 방법이다.
본 발명에 따라, 암모니아 기체의 배출은 광물성 울 1㎏ 당 암모니아 기체를 10g 미만, 특히 8g/㎏ 미만, 특히 최대 5g/㎏ 미만으로 제한할 수 있다.
본 발명의 대상은 또한 상술한 바와 같이 페놀-포름알데하이드 결합제로 사이징된 광물성 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품을 제조하는 방법이고, 여기서 모든 제조 단계에서 암모니아 기체의 누적 배출은 광물성 울 1㎏ 당 암모니아 기체 10g 미만이다.
실시예
본 발명은 다음 예를 통해 예시된다.
(예 1)
37% 수용액인 100㎏의 페놀과 241㎏의 포름알데하이드를 반응기에 넣고 제조 사이클 동안 계속해서 저어주면서 반응기의 온도를 45℃로 증가시킴으로써 페놀-포름알데하이드 수지가 제조되었다. 포름알데하이드/페놀의 몰비는 2.8이었다.
온도를 45℃로 유지하는 동안, 30분 동안 규칙적으로 12.7㎏의 수산화나트륨이 첨가되었고, 수산화나트륨은 47% 수용액으로, 즉 수산화나트륨/페놀의 중량비는6%이고, 즉 몰비는 14.1%이다.
이 첨가 후 즉시, 온도는 30분 동안 70℃로 증가했고, 약 120분의 시간 동안 이 온도가 유지되었다. 이 시간 후, 황산으로 중화된 레졸의 희석성은 1200%이었다.
반응기와 반응 혼합물은 35분 동안 70℃에서 35℃로 냉각되었다.
반응 혼합물의 pH는 15% 수용액인 설팜산 (약 88㎏)을 이용해서 7.2로 조절되었다. 이 작업은 반응 혼합물을 20℃로 냉각시키는 동안, 약 90분이 걸렸다.
중화된 레졸의 자유 포름알데하이드 함량은 37%의 고체 함량에 대해, 레졸 중 2.5 중량%, 즉 수지 중 건조 물질의 중량에 대해 6.8%이고, 자유 페놀 함량은 레졸 중 0.5 중량%, 즉 건조 물질에 대해 1.4%이었다.
설팜산으로 중화된 레졸의 희석성은 무한하고 (2000% 초과) 가볍게 저어주면서 12℃에서 일주일간 저장하는 동안에도 이처럼 유지되었다. 이러한 조건에서 3주 동안 저장한 후 희석성은 1000%가 되었다.
이러한 수지를 사용해서 레졸/요소의 예비혼합물을 원료로 한 세 개의 조성물을 포함한 네 개의 사이징 조성물을 제조할 수 있고, 이것의 제형(formulation)이 아래 표 1에 제공되어 있다.
유리 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품을 제조하기 위해 라인 상에서 이러한 사이징을 사용했다. 벨트에 유리 울을 가하기 위해 흡입 수단을 갖춘 수용 챔버에 포함되어 있는 컨베이어 벨트에 수용되기 전, 유리 울 필라멘트에 분무할 수 있도록 사이징이 희석되었다. 컨베이어 벨트는 수직 또는 가능하다면 길이 방향으로 유리 울이압축될 수 있는 성형 영역을 통과했고, 성형된 물질을 온도가 약 280℃인 결합제 교차결합 오븐으로 이동시킨다.
제품 중 결합제의 함량은 후자의 점화시 손실을 통해 측정되었고, 이것은 이러한 경우 제품의 전체 중량 중 약 4.5%이었다.
제조 라인의 모든 지점, 특히 성형 영역, 오븐의 입구와 출구에서 기체 배출의 시료가 채취되었고, 이 시료에 포함되어 있는 페놀, 포름알데하이드 및 암모니아가 측정되었다. 전체 라인에 걸친 누적 배출은 아래 표 1에 제시되어 있다.
시험 1은 아황산 암모늄을 첨가함으로써, 암모니아 기체 배출 레벨이 반드시 어느 정도 증가하고, 암모늄 이온이 존재함으로써 자유 포름알데하이드의 레벨은 상당히 적다는 것을 나타낸다.
이로운 변형예는 암모니아수를 제거하는 반면, 가능하다면 감소된 양으로 아황산 암모늄을 유지하는 것이다.
시험 2는 수지와 요소의 예비혼합물을 사용하지만 암모니아수를 포함하지 않는 것으로, 포름알데하이드와 암모니아 기체의 모든 면에서 우수한 배출 결과를 나타낸다.
암모니아수를 시험 3의 예비혼합물에 가하면, 배출 암모니아 기체 함량은 건강에 지장이 없을 정도로 유지되면서, 배출되는 포름알데하이드의 레벨을 줄일 수 있다.
최종적으로, 시험 4에서 아황산 암모늄을 가하면, 배출 암모니아 기체 함량은 건강에 지장이 없을 정도로 유지되면서, 배출되는 포름알데하이드의 레벨을 더줄일 수 있다.

(예 2)
37% 수용액인 100㎏의 페놀과 276㎏의 포름알데하이드를 반응기에 넣고 제조 사이클 동안 계속해서 저어주면서 반응기의 온도를 45℃로 증가시킴으로써 페놀-포름알데하이드 수지가 제조되었다. 포름알데하이드/페놀의 몰비는 3.2이었다.
온도를 45℃로 유지하는 동안, 30분 동안 규칙적으로 12.7㎏의 수산화나트륨이 첨가되었고, 수산화나트륨은 47% 수용액으로, 즉 수산화나트륨/페놀의 중량비는 6%이고, 즉 몰비는 14.1%이다.
이 첨가 후 즉시, 온도는 30분 동안 70℃로 증가했고, 약 130분의 시간 동안 이 온도가 유지되었다. 이 시간 후, 황산으로 중화된 레졸의 희석성은 1200%이었다.
반응기와 반응 혼합물은 35분 동안 70℃에서 35℃로 냉각되었다.
반응 혼합물의 pH는 15% 수용액인 설팜산 (약 88㎏)을 이용해서 7.3으로 조절되었다. 이 작업은 반응 혼합물을 20℃로 냉각시키는 동안, 약 90분이 걸렸다.
중화된 레졸의 자유 포름알데하이드 함량은 36%의 고체 함량에 대해, 레졸 중 2.5 중량%이고, 자유 페놀 함량은 레졸 중 0.5 중량%이었다.
설팜산으로 중화된 레졸의 희석성은 1800%이었고, 가볍게 저어주면서 12℃에서 3주 동안 저장한 후 희석성은 1300%로 변했다.
이러한 수지를 사용해서 레졸/요소의 예비혼합물을 원료로 한 두 개의 사이징 조성물을 제조할 수 있고, 이것의 제형(formulation)이 상기 표 1에 제공되어 있다.
이러한 사이징 조성물을 예 1에서와 같이 사용해서 유리 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품을 제조했고, 기체 배출에 대한 측정 결과는 표 1에 제공되어 있다.
시험 1은 사이징 중 암모니아수가 존재하지만 배출된 암모니아 기체의 레벨은 건강에 지장을 주지 않고, 시험 2에서 암모니아수의 부분적인 제거가 나타내는 것처럼 암모니아수가 제거된다면 매우 간단하게 줄어들 수 있다는 사실을 나타낸다.
이러한 두 시험에서 포름알데하이드와 페놀의 배출 레벨 또한 매우 만족스러웠다.
상술한 바와 같이, 본 발명은 차단 제품을 보다 오염 없이 제조하고, 차단 제품의 생산비용을 증가시키지 않으면서 제조 라인 상에서 암모니아를 배출하며, 비용면에서 경쟁력이 있는 사이징 조성물을 사용해서 차단 제품을 제조하는 동안,암모니아의 배출을 상당히 줄일 수 있는 효과가 있다.
Claims (13)
- 페놀-포름알데하이드 수지를 원료로 한 결합제로 사이징된 광물성 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품(insulating product)으로서,상기 결합제는자유 포름알데하이드의 함량이 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 25 중량% 이하이고, 자유 페놀의 함량이 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 2.5 중량% 이하이며, F/P의 몰비가 약 2.5 내지 4인 페놀(P)과 포름알데하이드(F)의 기본 매질에서 황산으로 중화된 축합 제품의 물에 대한 희석성이 500%를 초과하고, 1500% 이하가 될 때까지 축합함으로써 얻어진 페놀-포름알데하이드 레졸(resol) 60 내지 90 중량부와,10 내지 40 중량부의 요소(urea)를혼합물로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 요소를 첨가하기 전 상기 레졸 중 상기 자유 페놀의 함량은, 레졸의 건조 중량에 대해 2% 이하, 특히 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 약 0.5 내지 1.7%인 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 또는 제 2항에 있어서, 요소를 첨가하기 전 상기 자유 포름알데하이드의 함량은 수지의 상기 건조 중량에 대해 20% 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 내지 제 3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 F/P의 비는 약 2.5 내지 3.2인 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 내지 제 4항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 레졸은 수산화나트륨과 같은 염기성 촉매 존재시 약 50 내지 80℃, 특히 60 내지 75℃, 특히 약 70℃의 온도에서, 약 80 내지 200 분, 특히 90 내지 150분 동안 페놀을 포름알데하이드와 반응하게 함으로써 얻어지는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 내지 제 5항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 레졸은 붕산 또는 이에 상당하는 붕산염, 설팜산 또는 이에 상당하는 설팜산염, 또는 아미노산으로부터 선택된 적어도 하나의 산으로 중화되는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 내지 제 6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물은 요소 10 내지 40 중량부 당 레졸 60 내지 90 건조 중량부를 포함하고, 최대 35 중량부, 특히 15 내지 30 중량부의 요소에 대해, 적어도 65 건조 중량부, 특히 70 내지 85 건조 중량부의 레졸을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 제 1항 내지 제 7항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 결합제는 레졸과 요소의 100 건조 중량부 당 1 내지 10 중량부의 아황산 암모늄을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품.
- 차단 제품용 사이징 조성물(sizing composition)로서,자유 포름알데하이드의 함량이 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 25 중량% 이하이고, 자유 페놀의 함량이 수지의 건조 중량에 대해 2.5 중량% 이하이며, F/P의 몰비가 약 2.5 내지 4인 페놀(P)과 포름알데하이드(F)의 기본 매질에서 황산으로 중화된 축합 제품의 물에 대한 희석성이 500%를 초과하고, 1500% 이하가 될 때까지 축합함으로써 얻어진 페놀-포름알데하이드 레졸(resol) 60 내지 90 중량부와,10 내지 40 중량부의 요소를혼합물로 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품용 사이징 조성물.
- 제 9항에 있어서, 상기 혼합물은 10 내지 40 중량부의 요소에 대해 60 내지 90 건조 중량부의 레졸을 포함하고, 바람직하게는 15 내지 30 중량부의 요소에 대해 70 내지 85 건조 중량부의 레졸을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품용 사이징 조성물.
- 제 9항 또는 제 10항에 있어서, 레졸과 요소의 100 건조 중량부 당 1 내지 20 중량부의 아황산 암모늄을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품용 사이징 조성물.
- 차단 제품을 제조하는 동안 암모니아 기체의 배출을 줄이기 위한 제 9항 내지 제 11항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 사이징 조성물의 용도.
- 페놀-포름알데하이드 결합제로 사이징된 광물성 울을 원료로 한 차단 제품을 제조하는 방법으로서,제 9항 내지 제 11항 중 어느 한 항에 기재된 사이징 조성물이 상기 광물성 울에 분무되고,모든 제조 단계에서 암모니아 기체의 누적 배출은 광물성 울 1㎏ 당 암모니아 기체 10g 미만인 것을 특징으로 하는, 차단 제품의 제조 방법.
