Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- 과충전 방지 및 반전 밸브(10)에 있어서,a) 한정된 공간(18)으로의 하나 이상의 유체 입구(20)가 형성된 한정된 공간(18)과, 상기 한정된 공간(18)의 상부 단부에 유체 출구 포트(22)와, 상기 출구 포트(22)를 경계짓는 밸브 시팅(24)을 형성하는 하우징(12)과, b) 한정된 공간(18) 내부에 위치되고, 하우징(12) 내부에서 실질적으로 동축 방향으로 변위 가능한 제1 스테이지 부재(32) 및 제2 스테이지 부재(34)를 포함하는 밸브 조립체(30)를 포함하고,상기 제1 스테이지 부재(32)는 그 하부 단부에는 실질적으로 긴 슬릿형 입구 구멍(40)을, 그리고 그 상부 단부에는 상기 입구 구멍(40)과 유동 연통된 출구 구멍(36)을 구비하고, 출구 구멍(36)이 하우징(18)의 출구 포트(22)와 점진적으로 밀봉 결합하는 제1 위치와 그로부터 해제되는 제2 위치 사이에서 축방향으로 변위가능하고,상기 제2 스테이지 부재(34)는 그 일단부에서 부유 부재의 상부 벽(62)에 고정된 가요성 폐쇄 막 스트립(66)과 끼워 맞춰진 부유부이고, 상기 폐쇄 막(66)은 제1 스테이지 부재(30)의 상기 입구 구멍(40)과 대향하며, 제2 스테이지 부재(34)는 폐쇄 막(66)이 상기 입구 구멍(40)과 밀봉 결합된 제1 위치와 그로부터 점진적으로 해제된 제2 위치 사이에 있으며,적어도 하나의 고정 부재(42)는 제1 스테이지 부재(32)와 제2 스테이지부재(34) 사이에서 연장되고, 제2 위치로의 제2 스테이지 부재(34)의 변위는 제2위치로의 제1 스테이지 부재(32)의 양의 변위를 수반하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 편향 부재(86)는 제2 스테이지 부재(34)를 제1 위치로 편향시키기 위해 한정된 공간(18) 내부에 위치되는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하우징(12)에는 차량의 연료 탱크에 대한 부착을 위해 플랜지부(14)가 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제3항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 유체 입구(20)의 최상부 구멍이 탱크(10) 내의 최대 연료 레벨을 결정하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하우징(18)의 유체 출구(22)는 원형 단면을 가지고, 제1 스테이지 부재(32)의 출구 구멍(36)은 상기 유체 출구(22) 내부에 수용 가능한 관형 돌출부(34)인 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제5항에 있어서, 제1 스테이지 부재(32)는 제1 위치로 점차 변위가능해서, 유체 출구(22)를 통한 유체 유동은 완전히 차단될 때까지 감소하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제5항에 있어서, 밀봉 부재(50)는 하우징(12)의 출구(22)와 제1 스테이지 부재(32)의 출구 구멍(36) 중 어느 하나 또는 양자 모두에 제공되어서, 단지 제1 스테이지 부재(32)가 제1 위치로 완전히 변위될 때만 밀봉 결합이 발생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제5항에 있어서, 하우징(12)의 출구(22) 및 제1 스테이지 부재(32) 중 어느 하나 또는 양자 모두는 상방으로 테이퍼진 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 고정 부재(42)의 길이는, 제2 스테이지 부재(34)가 하우징(12)의 하부 기부에 놓일 때, 제1 스테이지 부재(32)가 제2 위치에 있도록 보장하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 고정 부재(42)는 제1 스테이지 부재(32) 및 제2 스테이지 부재(34) 중 하나로부터 연장되고 후크부(46)가 형성된 하나 이상의 다리부이고, 상기 다리부(42)는 제1 스테이지 부재(32) 및 제2 스테이지 부재(34)의 다른 하나와 활주 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제1항에 있어서, 제1 스테이지 부재(32)의 입구 구멍(40)은 하우징(12)의 종방향 축에 대해 경사져 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제11항에 있어서, 폐쇄 막(66)을 지지하는 제2 스테이지 부재(34)의 상부면(62)은 상기 종방향 축에 대해 대체로 동일하게 경사져서, 상기 폐쇄 막(66)은 상기 입구 구멍(40)과 밀봉 결합될 때, 제2 스테이지 부재(34)의 경사면(62)에 의해 입구 구멍(40)에 대항하여 그 종방향을 따라 가압되는 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
- 제11항에 있어서, 제1 스테이지 부재(32) 및 제2 스테이지 부재(34)는 서로에 대한 회전에 대해 고정된 것을 특징으로 하는 밸브.
