Claims (5)
- 영상표시장치에 있어서, 연속적으로 기판상에 형성된 다수의 스트립형의 데이터전극, 발광층, 및 다수의 스트립형의 주사전극을 포함하고, 상기 데이터전극과 상기 주사전극의 교차점에서 매트릭스형으로 다수의 발광소자가 형성된 영상표시부, 및 상기 발광소자를 선택하고 발광함으로써 상기 영상표시부를 구동하기 위한 열구동회로와 행구동회로를 더 포함하고,상기 행구동회로는 동시에 두 개 이상의 상기 주사전극을 구동하고, 상기 발광소자를 동시에 구동하기 위한 주사전극의 수에 대응하여 차례차례 연속적으로 수평영역을 발광시키는 기능을 가지고;상기 열구동회로는 상기 발광소자의 전류밀도가 변함 없이 유지되도록 상기 데이터전극으로 흐르는 전류를 제어하는 기능을 가지는 영상표시장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 다수의 주사전극을 최소한 두 개의 영역으로 분할함으로써 상기 영상표시부는 최소한 두 개의 영상표시영역으로 영상을 표시하기 위한 다수의 영상표시부로 분할되는 영상표시장치.
- 제2항에 있어서, 마지막 주사전극이 대응화소를 충분히 발광하게 하도록 상기 다수의 주사전극 중의 마지막 주사전극의 다음에 제2전극이 제공되는 영상표시장치.
- 제3항에 있어서, 상기 발광소자는 EL소자, 발광다이오드나 FED로부터 선택되어진 영상표시장치.
- 연속적으로 기판상에 형성된 다수의 스트립형의 데이터전극, 발광층, 및 다수의 스트립형의 주사전극을 포함하고, 상기 데이터전극과 상기 주사전극의 교차점에서 매트릭스형으로 다수의 발광소자가 형성된 영상표시부, 및 상기 발광소자를 선택하여 발광시킴으로써 상기 영상표시부를 구동하기 위한 열구동회로와 행구동회로를 더 포함하는 영상표시장치의 구동방법에 있어서,동시에 구동되는 상기 주사전극의 수에 대응하여 수평영역에 있는 상기 발광소자를 발광시키기 위하여 서로 인접한 두 개 이상의 상기 주사전극을 동시에 구동시키는 단계; 및상기 발광소자의 전류밀도를 변화시키지 않도록 상기 데이터전극으로 흐르는 전류를 제어하는 단계를 포함하는 영상표시장치의 구동방법.
