- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 용융혼련이 상기 폴리스티렌이 압출기 내에서 2 내지 60 초의 체류시간을 갖도록 압출기에서 블렌딩하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 용융혼련이 제1혼합구간(first mixing section)과 제2혼합구간(second mixing section)을 포함하는 압출기로 용융혼련하는 단계를 포함하고; 그리고 상기 용융혼련이 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)를 상기 제1혼합구간의 상류측에서 상기 압출기에 첨가하는 단계, 및 상기 폴리스티렌과 상기 카르복실산 화합물을 상기 제1혼합구간의 하류측 및 상기 제2혼합구간의 상류측에서 상기 압출기에 첨가하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 용융혼련이 압출기로 용융혼련하는 단계를 포함하고, 그리고 상기 압출기가 스크류, 폴리스티렌 첨가 위치, 및 블렌드 배출 위치를 포함하고; 그리고 상기 스크류의 직경(D)에 대한 상기 폴리스티렌 첨가 위치와 상기 블렌드 배출 위치 간의 거리(L)의 비율(L/D)이 5 내지 45인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 상기 스크류의 직경(D)에 대한 상기 폴리스티렌 첨가 위치와 상기 블렌드 배출 위치 간의 거리(L)의 비율(L/D)이 10 내지 20인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 용융혼련이 압출기로 용융혼련하는 단계를 포함하고;상기 압출기가 폴리스티렌 첨가 위치, 블렌드 배출 위치, 및 배럴을 포함하고;상기 배출 위치에서 배출된 균질블렌드가 유리전이온도를 가지며; 및상기 폴리스티렌 첨가 위치 하류측의 배럴의 온도가 상기 배출된 균질블렌드의 유리전이온도보다 50 내지 120℃ 높은 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 스팀-스트리핑된 균질블렌드가 카르복실산 화합물 없이 또는 스팀 스트리핑 없이 용융블렌딩된 대응하는 균질블렌드의 스티렌 함량의 30 내지 50 중량%의 스티렌 함량을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 스팀-스트리핑된 균질블렌드가 120 내지 270 중량ppm(parts per million by weight)의 스티렌 함량을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 용융혼련이 상기 균질블렌드 킬로그램당 0.1 내지 0.18 킬로와트-시간의 비에너지 소비로 블렌딩하는 단계를 포함하고; 및상기 카르복실산 화합물이 아디프산, 글루타르산, 말론산, 숙신산, 프탈산, 말레산, 시트라콘산, 이타콘산, 시트르산, 상기 산들의 무수물, 및 이들의 조합에서 선택되고;상기 카르복실산 화합물이 25℃ 및 1기압에서 고체이고;상기 용융혼련이 압출기에서 블렌딩하는 단계를 포함하며; 및상기 용융혼련이 상기 카르복실산 화합물을 고체 형태로 상기 압출기에 첨가하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 용융혼련이 상기 균질블렌드 킬로그램당 0.1 내지 0.15 킬로와트-시간의 비에너지 소비로 블렌딩하는 단계를 포함하고;상기 용융혼련이 상기 폴리스티렌이 압출기 내에서 2 내지 15 초의 체류시간을 갖도록 상기 압출기에서 블렌딩하는 단계를 포함하고;상기 용융혼련이 제1혼합구간(first mixing section)과 제2혼합구간(second mixing section)을 포함하는 압출기로 용융혼련하는 단계를 포함하고; 그리고 상기 용융혼련이 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)를 상기 제1혼합구간의 상류측에서 상기 압출기에 첨가하는 단계, 및 상기 폴리스티렌과 상기 카르복실산 화합물을 상기 제1혼합구간의 하류측과 상기 제2혼합구간의 상류측에서 상기 압출기에 첨가하는 단계를 포함하고;상기 카르복실산 화합물이 시트르산을 포함하고; 상기 카르복실산 화합물이 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)와 상기 폴리스티렌의 총중량 100 중량부 당 0.2 내지 5 중량부의 양으로 사용되고;상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)가 2,6-디메틸페놀의 호모폴리머, 2,6-디메틸페놀과 2,3,6-트리메틸페놀의 공중합체, 및 이들의 조합으로부터 선택되고; 및 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)가 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)와 상기 폴리스티렌의 총중량 기준으로 5 내지 95 중량%로 존재하고;상기 폴리스티렌이 아택틱 호모폴리스티렌, 고무-개질된 폴리스티렌, 스티렌과 공액 디엔의 블록 공중합체, 스티렌과 공액 디엔의 수소화 블록 공중합체, 및 이들의 조합으로부터 선택되고; 그리고 상기 폴리스티렌이 상기 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)와 상기 폴리스티렌의 총중량 기준으로 5 내지 95 중량%로 존재하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항, 제2항, 제6항, 제9항 또는 제10항 중 어느 한 항의 방법에 의해 제조되고 120 내지 270 중량ppm의 스티렌 함량을 가지는 폴리(아릴렌 에테르)/폴리스티렌 블렌드.
