- 입력 전원 공급부로부터의 에너지를 인덕터, 정류 장치 및 스위칭 장치에 의해 승압하여 외부 장치에 공급하는 동시에, 상기 입력 전원 공급부와 상기 외부 장치 사이에 전류 제한 수단을 설치한 스위칭 레귤레이터에 있어서, 상기 전류 제한 수단을 상기 에너지의 공급을 제한하는 트랜지스터와, 상기 트랜지스터의 드레인과 상기 트랜지스터의 게이트 사이에 설치한 콘덴서(容量)와, 상기 게이트에 접속하는 전류 제한 수단에 의해 구성하고, 상기 입력 전원 공급부로부터 상기 외부 장치에 에너지의 공급을 개시할 때에, 상기 콘덴서에 축적하는 전하량을 상기 전류 제한 수단에 의해 제한하여 상기 게이트의 전위를 제어함으로써, 상기 에너지의 공급을 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전류 제한 수단은 저항과, 상기 저항과 직렬 접속하는 스위치 수단으로 이루어지고, 상기 스위치 수단을 온함으로써 상기 입력 전원 공급부로부터 상기 외부 장치에 에너지의 공급을 개시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스위칭 레귤레이터.
