Abstract
Description
DE-A-24 619 222에는 1,4-부탄디올에서 테트라히드로푸란을 제조하는 방법이 기재되어 있는데, 1,4-부탄디올을 기체상으로 지올라이트, 이산화규소, 알루미나, 이산화규소 알루미나, 이산화규소 마그네시아 및 산성 실리카로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 탈수 촉매의 존재하에 반응시킨다. 1,4-부탄디올을 함유하는 반응 혼합물로는 1,4-부탄디올, 1,2-부탄디올 및 2-메틸-1,3-프로판디올의 혼합물을 사용할 수 있으며, 이 혼합물은 프로필렌, 산소 및 탄산을 반응시키고, 이어서 히드로포르밀화, 수화 및 마지막으로 탈에스테르화하여 제조된다.
EP-A-0 443 392에는 말레산, 숙신산, 말레산 무수물, 숙신산 무수물 및(또는) 푸마르산 무수물을 수화시키고, 조 반응 생성물을 미리 처리하지 않고 양성자성 산으로 처리하고, 수득한 반응 혼합물로부터 증류를 통해 순수한 THF 또는 γ-부티로락톤을 단리하는 THF 또는 THF/γ-부티로락톤 혼합물을 제조하는 방법이 기재되어 있다. 그 실시예에 따르면, 사용하는 반응 혼합물은 26 중량%를 초과하는 물을 함유한다.
Claims (10)
- 산촉매 상에서, 말레산, 말레산 모노에스테르, 말레산 디에스테르, 말레산 무수물 및 수소화에서 형성된 중간체로 이루어진 군에서 선택된 화합물의 수소화로부터의 1,4-부탄디올-함유 수소화 생성물, 1,4-부탄디올과는 다른 추가 알코올, 0 초과 2 중량% 미만의 물을 포함하는 반응 혼합물을 반응시킴으로써 THF를 제조하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 알코올로서 일가 지방족 C1-C7 알코올을 포함하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 알코올로서 메탄올, 에탄올, 프로판올 또는 n-부탄올을 포함하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 촉매가 원소 주기율표의 4, 6, 13 또는 14 족의 원소, 또는 이의 조합물을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 촉매가 γ-Al2O3, TiO2, 또는 이의 조합물을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 현탁 촉매상에서 액체상으로, 또는 고정상 촉매상에서 기체상으로 반응을 행하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반응 혼합물이 15 내지 60 중량%의 1,4-부탄디올, 15 내지 50 중량%의 (추가) 알코올(들), 0 초과 30 중량% 이하의 γ-부티로락톤 및(또는) 숙신산 디에스테르 (이들의 함량은 부탄디올의 중량 함량의 0 초과 절반 이하임), 0 초과 30 중량% 이하의 THF, 및 모든 다른 성분들의 총량 100 중량%를 기준으로 0 초과 2 중량% 미만의 물을 포함하는 것인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반응을 기체상으로 행하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 반응을 50 내지 300℃ 및 0.5 내지 80 바의 압력 범위에서 행하는 방법.
