Abstract

본 발명은 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조에 관한 것으로서, 가장 외측을 이루는 범퍼페이스(BF)와 차체에 결합된 리인포스먼트(R), 그리고 상기 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)와의 사이에 취부된 에너지흡수폼(EA)으로 구성되는 차량의 리어범퍼(B)에 있어서, 상기 에너지흡수폼(EA)의 중앙부를 일체로 형성하고 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)의 상부 공간부에 위치되도록 취부하는 것이다. 이에 따라 외부의 충격에 의해 범퍼페이스 상단이 눌리지 않게 되어 충격성능이 향상된다.

Description

차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조
본 발명은 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조에 관한 것으로서, 특히 에너지흡수폼의 중앙부를 일체형으로 형성하여 범퍼페이스 상부에 까지 에너지흡수폼이 위치하게 됨으로써 유사시 외부의 충격에도 눌리지 않고 효과적으로 충격을 감소시킬 수 있도록 한 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조에 관한 것이다.
일반적으로 차량의 리어범퍼(RB ; Rear Bumper)는 도 1에 도시한 바와 같이 차량 후미의 범퍼를 말하는 것으로서, 범퍼란 자동차의 앞뒤에서 차체를 보호하기 위하여 설치되어 있는 장치이며 부딪혔을 때 그 충격을 흡수하는 역할을 한다. 현재는 충격에너지를 감소시킬 수 있도록 형성한 에너지흡수범퍼가 일반화되어 있다.
도 4는 종래 리어범퍼의 구조를 나타낸 분해사시도로서, 가장 외측을 이루는 범퍼페이스(BF)와 차체에 결합된 리인포스먼트(R ; Reinforcement), 그리고 상기 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)와의 사이에 취부된 에너지흡수폼(EA ; Energy Absorber Foam)으로 구성되어 있다.
도 5는 종래 리어범퍼의 설치상태를 나타낸 도 4의 B-B선 단면도로서, 도 4의 각 부품을 결합한 상태를 나타낸 것이다. 즉, 종래에는 에너지흡수폼(EA)의 중앙부위 형상이 미약한 관계로 도 5에서 범퍼페이스(BF)와 이루는 공간부(S)가 발생하게 된다.
상기 공간부(S)는 강성이 취약하여 약한 충격으로도 쉽게 변형되어 충격성능이 취약한 단점이 있으며, 차량의 이미지 손상을 초래하게 된다는 문제점이 있다.
따라서 본 발명은 상기한 종래의 문제점을 감안하여 안출한 것으로서, 본 발명의 목적은 차량의 리어범퍼 중앙 상부의 공간부로 인하여 발생되는 취약점을 보강하고자 하는 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조를 제공하는 데 있다.

상기한 목적을 이루기 위하여 본 발명은 가장 외측을 이루는 범퍼페이스(BF)와 차체에 결합된 리인포스먼트(R), 그리고 상기 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)와의 사이에 취부된 에너지흡수폼(EA)으로 구성되는 차량의 리어범퍼(B)에 있어서,
상기 에너지흡수폼(EA)의 중앙부를 일체로 형성하고 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)의 상부 공간부에 위치되도록 취부하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조를 제공한다.
이하 첨부된 예시도면을 참조하여 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예를 보다 상세히 설명하면 다음과 같다.
도 2는 본 발명에 따른 에너지흡수폼(EA)을 포함한 리어범퍼의 분해상태 예시도로서, 본 발명의 에너지흡수폼(EA)은 종래 분리형에서 중앙이 결합된 형태의 일체형으로 형성한다.
이에 따라 도 3에 본 발명에 따른 리어범퍼 설치상태 단면도를 도시한 바와 같이 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R) 사이의 상부 공간을 채워주게 되므로 보강효과가 발생하게 된다.
이상과 같이 본 발명은 차량의 범퍼페이스와 리인포스먼트가 이루는 상부공간에 에너지흡수폼이 위치하게 되어 강성을 보완하게 되는 효과가 있으며 원가 및 중량을 저감시키는 효과가 있다.

  1. 가장 외측을 이루는 범퍼페이스(BF)와 차체에 결합된 리인포스먼트(R), 그리고 상기 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)와의 사이에 취부된 에너지흡수폼(EA)으로 구성되는 차량의 리어범퍼(B)에 있어서,
    상기 에너지흡수폼(EA)의 중앙부를 일체로 형성하고 범퍼페이스(BF)와 리인포스먼트(R)의 상부 공간부에 위치되도록 취부하는 것을 특징으로 하는 차량의 리어범퍼 보강구조.
