Abstract
Description
図1に示す MacPherson Strut type の懸架装置1は、車両懸架用コイルばね2(これ以降、単にコイルばね2と称す)と、ショックアブソーバからなるストラット3とを備えている。コイルばね2は、螺旋形に成形されたばね鋼からなる素線4を有している。コイルばね2は、下側のばね座10と上側のばね座11との間で圧縮された状態で、懸架装置1に取付けられている。ストラット3の上端は、マウントインシュレータ12を介して車体13に取付けられている。ストラット3の下部にブラケット15が設けられている。ブラケット15には、車軸を支持するためのナックル部材16(一部のみ示す)が取付けられている。ストラット3は、重力の鉛直線XLに対し、上端側が車両内側に角度θ1だけ軸線X0が傾いた状態で車体13に取付けられている。コイルばね2は、下側のばね座10と上側のばね座11との間で圧縮されている。下側のばね座10は、上側のばね座11に対してストラット3の軸線X0方向に相対的に移動することができる。
Claims (9)
- 螺旋形に成形された素線(4)を有し、下側のばね座(10)と上側のばね座(11)との間に配置される車両懸架用コイルばねであって、
前記下側のばね座(10)に接する下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と、
前記上側のばね座(11)に接する上側の座巻部(21)(21’)と、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)との間の円筒形の有効部(22)(22’)と、
前記有効部(22)(22’)を圧縮する力が前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)とに負荷された状態において前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)に加わる力の重心(C1)と前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)に加わる力の重心(C2)とを結ぶ直線からなる荷重軸(FL)と、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)または前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)の少なくとも一方に、
その座巻部の長さ方向の途中の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)(26a)(26a’)から前記素線(4)の先端(4X)(4Y)に向かって、素線(4)の厚さがテイパー状に減少し、かつ前記厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)(26a)(26a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)の寄りの位置に配置され、前記荷重軸(FL)を制御するためのテイパー長さとテイパー厚みとを有したテイパー部(25)(25’)(26)(26’)とを具備した車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)に前記テイパー部(25)(25’)が形成され、このテイパー部(25)(25’)は、前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)の長さ方向の途中の第1の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)から前記素線(4)の下端側の先端(4X)に向かって第1の長さにわたり素線(4)の厚さがテイパー状に減少し、かつ前記第1の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)の下端寄りに配置されている車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)に前記テイパー部(26)(26’)が形成され、このテイパー部(26)(26’)は、前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)の長さ方向の途中の第2の厚さ変化部(26a)(26a’)から前記素線(4)の上端側の先端(4Y)に向かって第2の長さにわたり素線(4)の厚さがテイパー状に減少し、かつ前記第2の厚さ変化部(26a)(26a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)の上端寄りに配置されている車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)に第1のテイパー部(25)(25’)が形成され、この第1のテイパー部(25)(25’)は、前記下側の座巻部(20)(20’)の長さ方向の途中の第1の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)から前記素線(4)の下端側の先端(4X)に向かって第1の長さにわたり素線(4)の厚さがテイパー状に減少し、かつ前記第1の厚さ変化部(25a)(25a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)の下端寄りに配置され、
前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)に第2のテイパー部(26)(26’)が形成され、この第2のテイパー部(26)(26’)は、前記上側の座巻部(21)(21’)の長さ方向の途中の第2の厚さ変化部(26a)(26a’)から前記素線(4)の上端側の先端(4Y)に向かって第2の長さにわたり素線(4)の厚さがテイパー状に減少し、かつ前記第2の厚さ変化部(26a)(26a’)が前記荷重軸(FL)の上端寄りに配置されている車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)(26)(26’)がフラットテイパー形のテイパー部である車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)(26)(26’)がラウンドテイパー形のテイパー部である車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項4に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記第1のテイパー部(25)(25’)と前記第2のテイパー部(26)(26’)との一方がフラットテイパー形であり、他方がラウンドテイパー形である車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
前記テイパー部(25)(25’)(26)(26’)が座面研磨形のテイパー部である車両懸架用コイルばね。 - 請求項1に記載の車両懸架用コイルばねにおいて、
熱間成形された円筒形の前記有効部(22)(22’)を有している車両懸架用コイルばね。
